What is the
craziest thing you have ever done?Driving while asleep.
It felt like a long blink but I wasn't where
I expected to be, thank god for guardian angles and straight roads. - Never again! I don't
care how loud the radio is or how cold the open window gets when I get tired I pull over.

Accepting a marriage proposal from a man I'd
known for ten days. But it worked well for a number of years.

I killed and tore a bear asunder with my
hands and climbed inside its skin. The bear's strength washed into me, like licking a
light socket, except not so shocking and more "bear-y". I cannot explain it
better. Then I went to K-Mart for tube socks and tried to eat a baby.

Besides nude mountain climbing? I performed
a spoken-word piece called The Antichrist Acronym Bit on Ash Wednesday in a severe
Irish-Catholic neighborhood.

In junior high I used to play strip
poker with the other kids my age at the back of the
school bus. I always won--I don't know if that's because I'm good or because they let me
win. But I always wore more than one layer just in case. After a certain point the
stripping part always became virtual anyway, because there was a BusCam on the bus.

"crazy" is a funny word. .
..probably the craziest thing I ever did was tell a psychiatrist exactly what I knew he
was required to hear to put me into a full fledged mental institution. . . .this would seem to suggest a certain deep mental instability.
. . .
the "craziest"
thing/wildest/weirdest College Fraternity type stunt thing I ever did was let the woman I
was in love with drive my parents car when she was very very messed up. . . .she didn't
have a license and only had a limited amount of actual driving experience. . .

Once, many, many years ago I ignored
some excellent advice from a black cocker spaniel.

I can't
for the life of me remember one crazy thing I have done. Stupid things yes.
Adventurous yes. Pathetic yes. But wild & crazy type things . . .Hmmm . .. OK in the
crazy / sorta stupid category, I climbed a very tall mountain too close to dark with a
person who is at this time classified an ex-boyfriend. Needless to say, we didn't start
heading down until there was way too little light and way too much fog. We lost the trail,
almost killed ourselves on some craggy rocks, and were forced to sleep under an overhang
until it became light again. Of course it rained and I have never been so cold. And as
these things are, we were only about 10 feet from the trail. I thought it was sorta
fun, if uncomfortable, the boyfriend did not.

I tried to think back since my teen years to
all the crazy things I've done, there have been so many, wait, maybe I'm confusing stupid
with crazy.

Depends on how you define crazy. I think it
was indeed crazy to be masochistic, and I think it was crazy to date a complete loser. But
if you mean "wild and crazy," then I'd have to say getting very drunk in the
french quarter and roaming around with my friends. We were about 15 years old, and it was
probably really stupid.

Agree to marry a man that I really
didn't know very well, after dating only a few months.
Good thing it worked out.

My girl
friends (4) and I squashed cloths, a tent and sleeping bags and ourselves into a small
rundown sub compact car and prodeed to drive from NJ to South Carolina for the Blue Grass
Festival during Easter week. We couldn't have been over the age of 19 with no money. But
drive we did and we had a blast!
