What
are your 'hot buttons'?Censorship, religion and people who shouldn't be parents.
Alias Irrelevante
Most varieties of lying including blatant
lies, self-enhancing additions or subtractions to a story, and dissemination's of
misinformation because of laziness. I can accept "little white lies" providing
the fib is being told to protect someone besides the fibber. I also recoil when someone is
simply filling up the air with noise simply to monopolize the conversation.

The fact that decent affordable housing is
not a priority in the city of Lowell or the state of Massachusetts. Don't get me started.
I had a serious rant about this yesterday.

I'm reading "hot button" as an
irrational, emotional response. In this case, I loose sleep over people who push me around
and try to manipulate me. I will always react to someone who indicates that they don't
like me. An old friend of mine could always trip me up by asking for specific examples of
why I was upset exactly when I was too emotional to detail them.

Is that like pet peeves? This one
chick is pretty annoying. . .I don't like typos or
mispronunciations very well either. And I really can't stand it when people feed me the
line about how deer deserve to die because they're overpopulated and do so much damage to
people's cars.

if you mean things that really get me
mad..I'd have to say people who refuse to see that their point of view isn't always right
and being lied to. Those are the two things that are guranteed to piss me off.

Hmmm... let me think...
-criticizing my parenting
-disrespecting my beliefs (i.e., vegetarianism)
-homophobia
-lying to my face
I think those are the ones that have pushed
me over the edge this week. = P

Does that mean what pisses me off? If so:
hypocritical pro-lifers; Racists, bigots, particularly bigots who are bigoted in the name
of the Lord - using religion to condemn homosexuality; cruelty to animals; overzealous
christians condemning me or others for our beliefs; People who cannot think indipendantly; pop culture; George W. Bush

When you say hot spots, I am presuming you
are talking what get the blood boiling? If this is the case, then a sure hot spots is when
a person thinks they are better than another, really put down another and especially if a
man be-littles a female, like they are the choosen one. (Very few men are like this - but
it is a hot spot)

Racism, prejudice, homophobia, and in
particular, what's Goth and what's not. I know, and every single person that I know who
thinks they're Goth are nothing of the sort and I will debate about it for hours if you
give me a chance.

One of my current hot buttons is my
mother-in-law butting into our life. That woman is a
controlling self-rightous witch!

Assuming we're discussing temper here, I am
ultra sensitive about being unjustly accused of wrongdoing. Another hot spot is when I
catch someone straight out lying to me. I have almost no tolerance for dishonesty.

My hot buttons:
1- "People who think they can tell me what to dopeople who think they can tell me
what to wear, people think they are better than me...so you better get ready,to bow to the
masters...break it down" (Taken from the original theme song of Degeneration X)
2- People who open my mail (by accident or on purpose, it is irrelevant, it makes for a
@!&* dificult situation.
3. People who are not willing to hear different viewpoints.
4. Animal Cruelty. Anybody who is cruel to animals deserves to have Stone Cold and Triple
H come down and layeth the smacketh down upon their candy a.....
5. The fact that I am stuck in a dead-end job until the day I croak.

(I don't understand this question)
(Do you mean what gets me angry or upset
-(not too much, honestly) or what turns me on, gets me excited and anxious to engage in
whatever activity we're talking about(my career(ha ha ha ha ha) does that for me right
now, as does watching hockey and soap operas and making steps towards my life goals of
working professionally in a creative field and finding a woman I can deeply love who loves
me on my own terms, for whom I truly am(whatever the fuck that is, right?)))

People who flat out ignore you when you ask
a question just because they can't stand to hear themselves say "I don't know."
People who don't know you striking up
deep/boisterous conversations with you about religion, abortion, sexual preference or any
other touchy subject without having any idea if they're being offensive or not.
Extreme hypocrisy. I think we're all guilty
of hypocrisy to some extent but some people take it to the extreme.
Thank you. Come again
