Mainly I try to treat people as I'd like to
be treated and don't take offense easily. I've found that people respond well to comon
courtesy. I guess making other people feel good makes me feel good.

I go to
the gym. Not necessarily to lose weight, mostly to just get in shape and fit into my old
pants, but everytime I go, I can imagine that I'm getting thinner. I think I look better,
more confident, slimmer, and more athletic. I admire my arms when I do an upper-body
workout, and my face when I know I've been working out hard and my double chin doesn't
seem so dominant. Not only that, but it helps me enjoy the food I eat more. I don't have
to change my diet--I can enjoy my cake and my body. In addition, my boyfriend does a world
of good for my self-image--when I dress up for him and I see the way he looks at me, I
feel great.
