What kind of
relationships do you have with your neighbors?I have an awesome relationship with
my neighbors. Next door to the right is this 5-year old girl who stands out on her front
lawn yelling my name and my brother's name to see if we are home to play with her. To the
left of me is this guy Bob. He;s a leader for this Harley gang called the Mountain Men,
but he's the nicest guy in the world, and whenever it;s a nice day and he doesn;t ave to
work, he brings me for a long ride on his Harley. I love it

We live in a rural area and our
neighbors kind of stick to themselves but I do have a
neighbor next door that if I would NEED ANYTHING they would be there. Several times our
water has gone out as we have a well and a pump and we may lose the water but they are
right here to help. They also let my son use their large garage to work on cars such as
replacing motors. Our gas sometimes goes out as we draw gas from a gas and oil well
on the neighbors propeety and if anything happens they are there if needed. We also
have neighbors around the corner that no matter what they will be there. So I feel
blessed as all of my life I have lived in the city and neighbors did not help one another.

I don't know any of them personally and most
of them I've never even seen before... we live in a rental neighborhood, so mostly
everyone moves within 5-12 months.

At the house where I pay rent it's typical
polite, no-names-known suburban stuff with the "hi how are you" nod of
acknowledgement thrown in when passing. My girlfriends place is a 6 apartment house. The
family directly upstairs used to play their stereo loud but two of the kids got sent to
DYS so that's gone. The lady downstairs used to complain every time you dropped your shoes
but she has a boyfriend now and has since lightened up. The three on the other side
are either quiet or non-existant.

None at all. When I was younger, I
was friends with all of them, but after moving I think all our neighbours are reclusive
old meanies. >:D

We just moved to our current home and only
have neighbors on one side. Currently, we have never met them...we just see their kids all
the time.

With people, very friendly as is typical in
a rural area. The chipmunks and squirrels and bears raid the bird feeders.

barely know them. we say hi, that's
about it. and i occasionally retrieve misplaced mail.

a very restricted one. We may fix a fense
together or band together when the cable's out, but otherwise...strictly no socializing.

My neighbor directly next door is my
landlady and we are close. She is dying of cancer
so I try to visit her every day...she's a neat lady. Other than that I don't really talk
to anyone...a "Hi. How ya doing?" is about it. Because I live in a
shore/vacation area, there aren't many year-rounders!

Some of them I sneak glances at out of the
corner of my eye. The rest are men. I have never said a word beyond hello, and they
have returned the gesture.

Casual but cordial. My granddaughter enjoys
playing with the little girl across the road.
