Do
you learn best by watching, listening or doing?D: All of the above
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
I LEARN MUCH BETTER BY ACTUALLY DOING. I CAN
PICK IT UP QUICKLY BUT IF FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT ACTUALLY DO IT I ALSO LEARN BY WATCHING
BUT DO NOT LEARN AS FAST
Marci, 55
OH
Doing.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
I suppose I learn bet by doing, however, I
have to listen beforehand, so I'll have a vague idea of what I am doing.
Ernest, 29
Washington, DC
Mainly by doing. Most of the things I've
been learning lately haven't been in situations where I can watch someone else and I don't
think listening to someone is very helpful if you're not familiar with what they're
talking about.
Alias Irrelevante
Doing. And as a side question, when you read the word "doing" do you
occasionally read it as a rhyme for "boing?"

D
Firelady, 22
Dallas, TX
I would have to be a doer, since I can't sit
still very well.
Jesse, 24
Bowie, MD
I learn best by reading first, then
following written directions to do it. After that, if I have a problem, watching a
demo makes sense.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
I don't really know. If I listen and watch a
lot, then I seem to do it better, but I still sometimes need practice. So I guess it's
doing, really.
Aurora, 17
Montreal, Quebec CANADA
A combination of all three would
probably work best.
Shanna, 15
Cardiff ENGLAND
I would have to say that i am all three. It
all depends on what I am learning. I don't have a certain style of learning overall.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
I learn best by doing -- otherwise called
"hands-on" training. :)
Melodi, 19
Hlliard, OH
doing. i am VERY hands-on.
Angela, 16
|Aiken, SC
I learn best by watching and then doing.
Mandy, 24
All three.
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO
I learn most by reading which I guess is a
form of watching. However doing puts me into a sort of zen space where everything is
instintually done and I have no problem learning. Listening, is the hardest for me I think
since it requires so much energy to sort out the sounds and make sense of them at
times.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Definately watching, and it always helps to
do right after.
Megan, 24
Chicago, IL
I really don't know. I guess a little bit of
each.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA
Doing first, but if I am watching
closely and can then do on my own that works well too. Just plain 'ol listening is not my
thing unless I am REALLY interested...not counting conversations with people, I'm talking
seminars and meetings!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
by doing. . .no doubt. .
mothmc, 35
Los Angeles, LA
For me, it is a combo of listening
and doing. I learn better by doing it myself and working out the snags then watching
someone else and trying to imitate.
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
I learn best by doing, after I watch and
listen.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
Definitely by doing. I was in a training
class for work last week, and didn't understand a thing the teacher was talking about
until I actually did the steps on the computer. It all made sense after that.
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
Yes. I learn best when all three: watching,
listening and doing take place.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
Watching... I need someone to set an
example.
Karen2, 14
Boston, MA
I learn
BEST by all three.
Socrates One
Lowell, MA
Watching
and doing, am I allowed to have two of them? If not, I learn best by doing.
Nikki, 27
Kirkham ENGLAND
I like to
watch someone do it and then I have to do it or i'll never learn the task.
