What is heaven
like?I can no more say what heaven is like than I can ascertain if heaven
truly exists. I have imagined it several different ways. However, if there is a 'heaven'
I'm sure it's nothing any human could ever imagine.
Firelady, 22

A huge
Scottish castle with all the books ever written, ever not written, ever dreamed, ever
imagined. A place where all my loved ones are and all the food you could ever possibly
want to eat. A place where all your dreams come true, and you suddenly know all the
answers to all the questions you've ever asked or not asked. Oh, and time travel. I
think people are allowed to create their own heaven. That one's mine.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA
If Bill Hicks and Manny Carcano are
there, then it is like coming home at last.
Anthony, 25

What ever you want it to be.
Megan, 24

I think it's the way the world
might've ended up if there wasn't temptation in the garden of eden. Clean with nothing bad
or going wrong, just the way God intended the world to be.

I don't think of heaven in physical terms. I
do believe that there is a survival of the spirit, of the essence of what identifies an
individual. In my more optimistic moments I like to think that those people who
loved each other in this life are reunited.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
Heaven is a place where I will be reunited
with all the animals who have passed on. In Heaven, there is no killing, guns, poverty, or
greed. All good people, and animals, whow were sick, wounded, or in pain in life are
restored to their youthful vigor. In Heaven, I can hang out with the greatest minds ever
like Plato, Aristotle, Shakespeare, Homer, and Janis Joplin.
Ernest, 29
Washington, DC
It's like my current life, only someone
steps outta nowhere, teaches me how to never be stressed or angry again, and then leaves.
Jesse, 24
Bowie, MD
IT IS LIKE NO OTHER PLACE ONE CAN
IMAGINE. IT IS OUR GIFT FROM GOD AFTER DEATH FOR HOW WE
LIVE OUR LIFE AND DO FOR OTHERS. GOD GAVE HIS ONLY SON THAT WE HAVE HEAVEN TO LOOK
FORWARD AFTER OUR LIFE ON EARTH NO MATTER WHAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN. WE MUST DEDICATED
OUR LIFE TO GOD TO INHERIT THIS GIFT. I OFTEN WANT TO GO THERE BUT GOD WILL MAKE THE
DECISION WHEN I WILL GO. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. WHAT A GREAT
REUNION IT WILL BE FOREVER.

Can't say, nobody's sent me a postcard yet.

Heaven is like complete acceptance and love
from yourself. . .for whatever you really are. . .
mothmc, 35

I imagine heaven will be a lot like
earth, only with fewer jerks.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
I'd like to imagine heaven, if it's
really out there somewhere, as a place completely devoid of any negativity...including
pain, fear and taxes.
Fisch, 45
Preston, CT
Heaven is hypothetical.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
I don't really believe in a heaven,
but if there is one, I envision it being like a beautiful dream that is kind of loopy, not
very clear, and floaty with bright colors.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Heaven is where there are no
responsibilities or stresses and where you can have anything you've ever wanted.
Mandy, 24
Fairfax, VA
Heaven is lying in the dark beside the
person you love, listening to his or her breath, and knowing that for now everything is
just the way it should be.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
I believe that heaven is sort of a
rest stop for your spirit/school rolled into one. In
heaven you are reunited with your loved ones who passed before you, and it is a place of
great joy and celebration. But it is also a place where you confront the mistakes you made
in your life, learn from them, and prepare your soul for its next journey to earth.
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
heaven is a place with a lot of mashed
potatoes and sexy men. Oh, and EVERYONE looks like a super model.Every single one of us
are beautiful and adored.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
from a religious aspect-millions of saved
souls praising God for eternity. My personal idea of what heaven is? A peaceful,
pure enviroment where all the things that made your life hell have disappeared and you are
never depressed.
Angela, 16
Aiken, SC
Presumably it's a place of absolute
contentment and bliss, but I doubt it actually exists. It's a nice idea though.
Shanna, 15

You're asking ME?!? :)
Aurora, 17
Montreal, Quebec CANADA
I imagine it being sort of like a
family reunion or something.
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO
I haven't been there yet, but I imagine it
to be warm, sunny, with a beautiful beach, lots of tropical plants and wild life and all
my favorite people. I think everyone creates their own heaven, based on what is important
to them personally. I wouldn't want to be plummeted into a predetermined place created by
some random deity that I do not necessarily
subscribe to.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
That's something I like to keep private in
my mind, heart and soul, but heaven is out there!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
Everything you wanted to happen in life can
Jami, 27

It's like
a giant nazi boot camp, only there's lots of clouds and everyone is dressed in white.
Socrates One

I'd like to think it's a warm place, a place
where I can see all the loved ones and friends I've lost throughout the years. I like to
think of it as a place where everyone is happy all the time, where there are no worries or
concerns: where incredible beauty surrounds you wherever you go.
Nicole

I don't belive in heaven or hell.
