Do you have a
favorite Olympic event (suimmer or winter)?I'm still kind of impressed that they let snowboarding in
(and amazed at how long it took them to 'discover' that snowboarders smoke).

Summer: Swimming ( I was a competative
swimmer for 5 years and I still love it) Winter: The Luge or curling (although I love
hockey as well)The truth is I pretty much enjoy the Olympics to the point that I will
watch all of the events.

Yes, rhythmic gymnastics. I used to be more
a fan of artistic gymnastics, but now that that's so popular I've gone completely over to
rhythmic.

I like the death sled events because they go
at crazy speeds!

I am not a real big sports fan but tend to
watch some of the gymnastics and ice skating. Also the newer "extreme" sports
are kind of interesting.

gymnastics and skiing and snowboarding. . .
Karen, 20

I really like watching gymnastics and ice
skating, probably because they make it look so easy but I know I'd never be able to do it.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA
I love to watch the ice skating in the
winter and the gymnastics in the summer during the Olympics.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ
Figure skating. I know, boring answer.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
I don't watch television--let alone sporting
events on television--but reading about the Olympic contenders is a marvelous opportunity
for people watching.
Jill, 59

Figure Skating, gymnastics, skiing,
ski jumping, decathalon and biathalon (because it's a bit weird).
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
I never watch the olypics. I'm not a
big sports fan.

I really don't have one favorite event. I
like a lot of them including all the Track & Field, Diving & Swimming, Gymnastics,
Basketball, and many, many more. The Summer Olympics are simply awesome.
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA
I like watching the gymnastic events during
the summer Olympics.
Mandy, 24

No, I lack the ability to appreciate the
Olympics. I'd need something a little more humorous or attention-grabbing. Cow-tipping in
the nude, or bikini/bathingsuit paintballing.
Jesse, 24
Bowie, MD
My favorite event to watch during
the Olympics (tho I rarely watch all)woould have to be the ice- skating. It just looks
fun. the gymnastics is cool also.
Stephanie, 24

Too many to choose from...I enjoy the whole
thing!!
Tracy, 24

No. I don't pay a lot of attention to the
Winter Olympics, and when the last Summer Olympics were held I was only about ten or
eleven, and I can't remember whether I watched it or not. I'll start watching for this one
and make my mind up then.

hurling. Summer or winter, olympic
or amature. Hurling is always the top sport

I'm not an Olympic fan. . .I've tried a few
times but the pageantry of it just doesn't charm me like it does a lot of people. . .The
events seem kinda boring to me too. . .I love hockey, so that would have to be my favorite
event, however, the style of play, with the much bigger ice surface and the lesser
agression and lower scoring isn't how I usually enjoy the game. . .I'll try again to watch
it next month. . .I know I'm missing something. . .
mothmc, 35

Not really. I don't really follow
the Olympics as it is
