Seen any good movies lately?

I think the best movie I've seen lately was "Gladiator", with Russell Crowe. It was gory, but it also showed a bit about Rome and the way they thought.

Nope. I'm not a movie fan.

Traffic was the last outstanding movie that I saw. For entertainment value, though, seeing Legally Blonde with my two sisters was great. We're all blonde. We were all in a silly mood. We all laughed at the lame jokes and got the rest of the audience to laugh with us.

I saw 2 great movies this past weekend- "Ghost World" which is a very funny coming of age story(which is the most general description) and "The Widow of St. Pierre" which is an incredibly moving film about sticking to your principles no matter what and standing by the one you love throughout any adversity.

It's been a while since I was in the theater. I've seen some good videos, but not ones that were new to me.

I enjoyed the Planet of the Apes Remake The first version bored me to tears as a child...haven't seen it since then

I watched "Traffic" on DVD yesterday-I had already seen it in the theater-and I am positive now that that is one helluva movie. I saw "Legally Blonde" and "The Princess Diaries" last week-both were entertaining, but certainly no where near as thought provoking as "Traffic".

Just saw Ghostworld the other night and it was one of those dark and poignant indie films with a downer ending. It was good. Also saw Planet of the Apes and American Sweethearts neither were as good as they could have been.

I really liked "The Closet" and "Aimee and Jaguar" but neither of those were terribly recent. I don't often *dislike* movies, though.

I think the last movie I've seen in the theatres was "Bridget Jones Diary".  I thought that was really good. I know this is off-subject, but a movie I was really disappointed with was "The Cider House Rules". The book was so amazing, but the movie totally did it an injustice. OK, I've said my peace.

I saw the new Planet of the Apes, it was pretty good but a lot of it didn't make very much sence. I saw Jurassic Park 3 as well, which I thought was really lacking in a lot of areas. But since it had dinosaurs, it was good. lol.

Momento...amazing movie. I saw it a little while ago in NYC. If you get the chance, check this one out. Truly amazing.

Does The Last Starfighter count?

Final Fantasy was pretty good. Before that, best flick i saw was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Rented "Requiem for a dream" a while back, that was very good.

I havent *been to the movies* for ages (although there are loads of things I'd like to see out at the moment - I'm too poor to go:( ), but I did rent a movie called "litle nicky" a few weeks ago. It was very good, and very funny (we watched it 3 times before we had to take it back), plus it has Ozzy in, which is a big bonus!

I really liked Family Man, and Jurassic Park III was pretty exciting. I usually wait till movies have been around awhile, then rent them...so I'm a little behind the times here. But I enjoy movies on the weekends at home...with a bowl of popcorn and a nice cup of tea!

The last really good one I saw was rented and probably over a year old: Remember the Titans. Great flick!

I saw Rush Hour 2 and it was great. Much better than the first one.

Planet of the Apes.... ok, so it's commercial, common, and banal,  but it was fabutastic!!!!

No. I've seen Planet of The Apes and Tomb Raider, but neither of them were any good. But tonight I plan on curling up and watching the original Psycho with one of my friends, so that should be fun.

No, there is nothing really good out in the theaters right now. The last movie I enjoyed was Shrek.
