Do you have or are you going to get a tattoo? If so, where will it be on your body and what will it be a picture of (or what will it say)?

If I have another bout with cancer, I'll probably get another triangle of tiny dots tattooed around the focus for radioactive treatment.

Nope. No tattoos for me. I'm too old and fat for that stuff. I loved the temporary tattoos that came out of the Cracker Jacks box, though. Daddy had two eagle tattoos on his biceps. Me and my brothers and sisters would beg him to "make the birdies fly", and he'd flex his biceps and we'd be thrilled.

I don't have one. And probably won't. But you never know, because I designed one for myself that I really like. It's the pattern from my security blanket, in a ring.

I don't think I'll ever get one. The thought has passed through my mind on occasion, but I always decide not to. I think I'll keep it that way!

I have no tattoos and no plans to get one!

I want a tattoo of a butterfly (blue, brown, and orange) either on my lower back or on my inner left ankle.

I've wanted a chinese dragon for a while. A black one, liek Angelina Jolie's. Except I'd put it on my lower back.

no i dont really like tattoos. i think they're kind of ugly. i want to get my eyebrow pierced sometime after i get out of school - i think that would be cool and its not as permanent as a tattoo.

I don't have a tattoo. But if I got one it would some sort of celtic design (like a celtic knot or something) probably placed just above the ankle, near the right collar bone, or on the right shoulder blade.

Yes I do... I have two. One is a black cat on a crescent moon, which is on my ankle. The other one is the kanji symbol for faith which I have on the inside of my right wrist. I have plans for a larger one on my back, but not the money...

I have none and don't have any plans to get one. I guess I'm old fashioned but in my opinion, I don't think they're all too feminine. I like them on men though.

I got a tattoo in December 1999. There is a well-known Man Ray photograph called "Le Violon D'Ingres" (which means both Ingrid's Violin and The Rape of Ingrid), depicting a woman seen from behind with the f-holes of a stringed instrument on her back. That's what I've got; it's proportionally equivalent to a cello (though I play double bass).

If I were going to get a tatoo, if would probably be like a sleazebag in the movie Donnie Brasco, who I think had a tatoo on his head. It has been a while since I saw that movie, so I am not accurately remember it...

I don't have a tattoo and I probably won't ever get one. I have pierced ears and I figure that's enough holes in my skin. Besides, I don't like needles.

I have one tattoo right now, and it is a leather and bead chain around my left ankle. It doesn't have a specific meaning. I am planning to get a tattoo that represents my children, but I haven't decided whether to use their names, or something that symbolizes them. As to where... I'm still debating. I would like to get a tattoo on the sole of my foot, but that wouldn't be for my kids.

I used to want a (small) tattoo of a dragon on my shoulder, but I doubt that I would ever get it.

I might get one. If i do, it will say "Queen's Own." That has to do with the character "talia" from mercedes Lackey books, which is why i chose this name.

I'm getting "The Thinker" on my back between my shoulder blades.

I don't really want a tattoo, but if I were going to get one I would get some disgustingly trendy tribal design around my ankle; just because I've always liked the idea before it was insanely popular.

I'm going to get a ladybird on my left shoulder :) ...I've wanted one for ages, but I have to wait until we can afford to move out of my parents house, as my mother doesnt approve.

I thought tatoos were cool a while back and many of my friends had them.  Until I saw an elderly woman one day. She looked very well to do and wonderfully glamourous for a woman her age. Howver, she had a small tatoo coming out from her shoulderblade that I guess she thought was not recognizeable or could be seen. It was a 4 leaf clover. It was sad looking. All crinkled and miscolored. Since then, I see tatoos as a temporary fad to a permanent problem later.

Although I don't have one yet, I would someday like to get one of a palm tree or a pineapple on my lower back.

Nikita

I've seriously thought about getting one, but then I think about being 80 years old with a tattoo...so, most likely I won't get one.

i am getting one when i turn 18...i want a rose on my lower back.

I have been wanting to get a tattoo for years. I have a very specific tattoo in mind and am waiting to find a person to design it for me. At this rate, I may be 80 or I may change my mind before I find that person.

Deb

I don't feel a mad rush to go out and get one, but I like the idea of getting a few. I'd like a HR Giger-esque drawing I've seen on one of my biceps, and I'd like to get one on my stomach too. I don't know what yet, but I would have to put some serious thought into the matter before getting anything done.

I don't have any plans for a tattoo right now. I really want a tongue ring, though.

Yes, I have a tatoo of the AUM (OM) symbol on the back of my neck.

Ry, 23

WHen i was in my early 20's I went to get a tattoo but after watching the guy I was with have work done, I chickened out. It was a bit to bloody and painful to watch as his skin swelled up and blood oozed out of his pores. I decided it was not for me. I was going to get a band of violets on my wrist.
