What do you see when you look out the window you look out most often?

I see the mountains in the distance and the dogs running around my apartment complex.

I see the front yard and the street that runs in front of the house. . .

This time of year I can admire an interlacing of tree branches with the buds starting to swell. There is a female hairy woodpecker having a snack of suet. A trio of squirrels are pillaging a hanging bird feeder. The snow is very, very white and the sky is very, very blue.

Come the first of May, the trees will be in leaf and I'll have my green walls back. By the first of November, after the autumnal glory, the trees will be bare again.

I guess that would be my office window. I see the roof of the next building, and the campus stadium. Oh, and construction. LOTS of construction.

The freeway, unfortunately. I do a LOT of driving, since my fiancee lives about 40 minutes away from me. On the days when I head to his house after work, I usually end up driving about 100 miles total. Once the weather gets better, driving won't be so bad...but in this rain, it's not much fun to look out the window.

The layered peaks of countless 3-story houses as they move gently upward toward the peak of the Tufts campus. On a perfect day, they are bathed in the pinkish, rosy tones of the setting sun or the crystal clear blue of a cloudless day.

When I look out the window, I can see a stained glass butterfly hanging in a tree.

Does a windsheild count as a window? I drive a lot and around the places i drive there is some variety as far as city versus country versus suburban track housing goes. I live just north of the rt. 28 Salem NH retail district, so i guess my main view is a bleepload of mini-malls.

The window I look out most often is probably the one in my math class. It looks outside to the courtyard, and I can see to the front entrance which is up one level (there are outdoor stairs). I always look out there because my friend Michael leaves for another school during that time and I want to make sure he's ok. I'm very protective of him. That's the only window I can think of (besides something abstract like "the window of my soul").

When I look out the window, I see about three pine trees. They block out a lot of the sun, but enough gets in to wake you up. It's pretty cool that way. Nobody can peek into your room. But it sucks because you cannot see the sky or the moon. Just trees. Three of them.

At my apartment: A parking lot
At my office: The adjoining building
At my parent's house: Shrubbery
In my car: Pollen and bad drivers
Though the window I stare out of most is the classroom where I have two classes, through which I see trees, grass and beautiful passing co-eds. For something like 20 years, this has been the best thing about school and windows.

My kitchen/dining room table is in front of a huge bay window. It has a southern exposure that looks out onto a row of hemlocks. I have my garden out there and a bird feeder. I enjoy watching all the birds fly in and check out what's for dinner. I love the contrast of the red cardinal against the snow.

Grass, and the hedges that line the edge of the yard. There's also some sawhorses for the workmen who are supposed to be remodeling our porch. Either their definition of work is different than the rest of the world's, or they're brownies that work at night.
