What
are your Valentine's Day plans?Well, I have a date. Wait, before we both get all gitty
about this, I need to tell you that it's just with a friend, a best friend, who decided to
take pity on me because we're both single. In reality, I think this holliday is bullshit.

Go home and try to shake the migraine I
have.

Presumably, you mean romantic plans? I'll
cook my husband pork chops, mashed potatoes and carrots. He'll probably give me a card and
very likely an owl for my collection. Thanks to the quirks of collective nouns, I have a
parliament of owls.

My Valentine Plans are to go to class, work
on my computer, and go take pictures with a friend. There is no love of my life this time
around. Maybe next year.

I'm working from 10 AM to
approximately 9:30 PM. My husband is working from 8:30 AM until 6:00-ish. But then he comes home and deals with his work email, so really he
works until 10:00 in the evening too. We exchanged small gifts this morning. I gave
my husband a small box of candy and he gave me a card that he made. You have to know my
husband to appreciate the card, though. He went to the American Heart Association's web
site to get a picture of a real heart to put on the front of it. I'll treasure this card.
He's such a goofball.

To go to work and go to class all the while
wearing my black skull shirt, my darkest jeans, and my black Dr Martens. Valentine's Day
is masochistic. I don't like it when I have a boyfriend, and I don't like it when I don't.
So I'm rebelling.

I'm single, so I hung out with all my
friends, ate some candy and chocolates, got some balloons, and bought myself a magazine
and a French soda.

Not much special. We are saving our
money and not buying each other frivilous gifts...I got flowers though. We are going out
to dinner on the weekend!

I had no big plans for this day. I think
Valentine's Day is a bit overstated. There was nothing really different about the
day except that my fiance and I exchanged gifts, and I bought my daughter a single
red rose.

We are going out to dinner. Then,
the rest of my evening involves a chocolate rose, peach-flavored self-warming massage oil,
and chocolate body paint. Woo hoo :)

Usually my girlfriend travels during the
week and comes home every other weekend. But this week she's actually home, so we get to
spend Valentine's Day together when we weren't expecting to. Unfortunately she has the flu
and a fever, so we will probably stay in, but I'm going to pick up some chocolates on the
way home (and flowers if there are any left anywhere).

::plugging ears:: I am not listening....I
hate Valentine's Day. Even when I am with someone I end up alone on Valentine's Day.
Blah!

Be alone. Try not to get depressed, which

My valentine's day plans were actually quite
busy...I went home after school until 4:30, then I went back for a track meet, and 10
minutes after the meet ended I had to be at dance! Then I came home and I was doing
homework until about 11:30 :)
Caroline, 15

Well, I'm
answering this after Valentine's Day, so I'll tell ya what I wanted to do, and what I
actually did. I wanted to go to dinner with my husband, be alone with him all day, no
family, no work, just a fun time with my man. Instead, I ended up agreeing to join my
family and my parents church in a Valentine's banquet at a local restaurant. It was
hellish. But my neice was making me laugh.
