Do
you wear your heart on your sleeve?my heart is in my pocket. i wear my sex life on my sleeve.
A-Dog, 19
McMinnville, OR USA
I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. I
generally have my sleeves rolled up so they don't get in my way.
Jill, 61
Saylorsburg, PA USA
Not usually.
Laura, 37
Lowell, MA
USA
Probably.
Karen, 22
Ames, IA
USA
I've heard a this expression used in
a few different ways so I'm not entirely sure what it's
supposed to mean. Do I know what I believe and why I believe it? Yes. Do I go out of my
way to be vocal about everything? No.
Alias Irrelevante
I try not to. I don't believe the general
public needs or wants to know my feelings.
Jane, 62
West Linn, OR
USA
I try not to. Usually I succeed.
Judy, 61
absolutely. every emotion is right there for
the world to see....
Maggie, 22
Sandwich, IL
USA
I believe I do...most of the time.
Fisch, 46
Preston, CT
USA
I have been told many times that I
wear my heart on my sleeve. This means that my emotions
are very close to the surface; that I cry easily, laugh easily, and get angry easily. It
also means I get my feelings hurt easily. But I wouldn't change a thing. I like to think
it also means that I really get pleasure out of things and am not afraid to show my
happiness, and that I tend to be enthusiastic. I'm not a 'cold fish' and I like it that
way.
Reba, 50+
Silver Spring, MD USA
Not at all.
Felicia, 36
Lowell, MA
USA
yes and no. you can always easily tell what
mood i am in, but i will rarely open up about my true inner feelings.
Steve, 29
Lake Worth, FL USA
It depends on the situation, but probably
more often than not, I do. Especially when it comes to disappointment or sadness.
Those emotions I have trouble keeping inside.
Triana, 29
Austin, TX
USA
Always, unfortunately.
Sapphire, 31
Ft. Lauderdale, FL USA
i used to but not anymore
Patty
I use to wear my heart on my sleeve. But I
have outgrown that.
Laney
TX USA
When it comes to certain things, yes. My
son, for one. In general, though, I try my hardest not to.
Nicci, 27
Las Vegas, NV
USA
Probably more often than I should. I've
allowed myself to be hurt and get burned, but I knew I'd learn from it and grow from it. I
never changed and it has paid off as I've met the perfect woman for me and will be married
in a little over a month.
Doug2, 29
Overland Park, KS USA
Used to but not anymore...
Christina
MI USA

Alesha, 15

Nicole2, 20
FL USA
Nah. Not really. I don't really hide it,
either. I just keep it fairly accessible but not obvious--in my pocket or something. Where
I can take it out quickly if I need it.
Johanna, 18
OK USA
I think so. You can usually tell how I feel
or if I am upset by just looking at me.
Janet, 44
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
No. At
least I dont think so
