How
do you do your laundry?I do my laundry in the laundry room on my dorm's first
floor. I separate whites and colors and use little Tide tabs, then I use Downy static
cling sheets in the dryer. :)

Um, by putting in detergent and laundry and
starting the washer. . .Actually, it's kind of annoying now, because in the last place I
lived we had our own washer & dryer. So it was free. Where I live now, though, it's $1
a load to wash and $1 a load to dry. Need I say that I no longer wear my stuff that has to
be washed separately? Need I say that my stuff is gradually turning strange colors from
being washed together? I can't wait till we have our own washer & dryer. . .

Seperate darks and lights and use a little
detergent. (note to self: submit more questions).

In the washing machine? Doesn't
everyone do it that way these days?? Luckily my washer and dryer are right next to the
bedroom so I can just drag the basket right up to the
washer and dump stuff in. I separate into whites, mediums, and darks. Almost always I use
cold water for the darks. I use either Cheer or All liquid detergent and Bounce
dryer sheets. It's a pain to do it, but it has to be done!

At home (thank god) as needed, usually three
or so loads per week. Separate colors from whites. Warm or hot water with bleach for
whites...cold water for colors. Stain stick if necessary. Dryer sheet fabric softener.
Gee, how much else can be said about laundry?

First I need to gather together $6.50 worth
of quarters. I then lug a 15 lb bag of mixed darks and lights to the basement of my
building. Separate all items into color groups, put into two separate washers w/ 1/2 cup
each of liquid detergent. Struggle with the washer that refuses to take all of my quarters
until I try several times. I then push the appropriate buttons, close the lids and go
upstairs. 1/2 hour later I walk back down the basement from the 4th floor, pull the wet
loads out of the washing machines and transfer to two driers. I pop in 2 fabric softener
sheets (one in each drier), struggle with more quarters, close the doors and push
appropriate buttons. An hour later, I walk back down to the basement, pull all clothes out
of driers (sometimes they are still damp), stuff into bag, walk back upstairs and fold
(finish drying for damp). I'm done. Not as tedious as it all sounds and sure beats years
ago when I had to walk 2-5 blocks to do my laundry.

We do it ourselves. There's a laundromat in
our apartment complex. Two piles: white and darks. That's all the separation I do.

As infrequently as possible. seeing as I
only own, more or less, cotton t-shirts/tank-tops and blue jeans, I don't really sort. I
just wash everything on cold with a lot of detergent and let everything dry for an hour
and a half.

Since I only wear a loincloth,and sandals,
along with my trusty, sword, spear, and shield, I normally do not have to do much laundry.
One a a month, in order to get all the blood off my loincloth, after competing in the
gladatorial contests, I beat my loincloth on the rocks, at the river, to get all the
bloodstains off...after doing laundry, I am ready to layeth the smacketh down at the
collaseum, during the gladatorial games...isn't that what everybody does?

I usually put in one of those big machines
that combines water and detergent, and then spins it around a lot. After that I put it in
one of those other machines that spin around a lot with only air added. I find this a lot
easier than taking it all down to the river and beating it against the rocks. Man that got
old real fast.

Do laundry? Sort and wash with
liquid Surf and Biz or bleach if doing whites. I have always liked to wash but will not
iron. If it needs to be ironed give it away!

Erm, In the washing machine, followed by the
dryer. I do one load for whites, one for darks, and I have a separate pile for things that
need to go to the dry cleaners but never make it. All my son's things go into one or two
loads.
Boy, that's kind of a strange question..

I sort it out by colors into different
baskets, bring them upstairs, then wash the darks first and dry them, then fold them and
put them in the basket, then the mediums and then the whites, and so on. Then I take them
downstairs and take care of them.

Actually I do laundry for my fiance at the
same time but I'm assuming it is done the same as everyone else. When the pile builds up
so high or by the end of the week, usually on Sat. or Sun..I toss the same colors of
clothes into the washing machine. Tah DAH ! Nothing different unless it is done diff. in
20 years.
Stephanie, 25

Usually I do it at my Grams' house
because my laundry machines are in a closet off of my livingroom and my parents use the
space primarily as a storage space (thus I have to lug
all the stuff out and then lug it all back in). I use all cold water and a minimum
of soap. My cousin started me on using baby shampoo for delicates. Then I dry on very low
heat. (I can't believe I just wrote about my laundry).

I'm most unhappy about the laundry situation
at my home. The washing machine died in January so now we go to the laundromat. Ick. We
won't buy a new washing machine until we pay off our credit card debt. I'm looking forward
to my income tax return.

Continuously. I have a husband that works
construction for a living and two teenage boys and myself. There is always laundry to be
done. Especially after on e of the boys clean their room. It is much easier to throw every
thing down to be washed than to hang it up in a closet. But I just fold it up and put it
back in their basket. I have a washer and a dryer down stairs in my basement. My
favorite line is, " Nuclear holocaust? Hummm.. I have 20 minutes to get a load of
wash on."

In a
laundry machine in the basement of my dorm. I pay with a laundry card and use Tide. I
separate the lights from the colors. I put it in the washing machine first. . . then in
the dryer. I use Bounce for fabric softening.
