standards: Warner Brothers and Disney. I was a pretty big of Sports Goofy.
It kind of bothered me to see slapstick getting a bad name a few years
back, my parents knew enough to keep me away from canyons and anvils.

formed the habit of reading by 1944 and television didn't arrive in our
house until 1947 when I was set in my ways. I'm not sure when the Saturday
Morning Cartoons (let alone the after school cartoons) arrived, but I
was hooked on books by then.

also liked The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, and Mr.
