What cartoons did you watch as a kid?
" Doug " on Nickelodeon, um, I can't remember anything else
Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Droopy...etc... Of course, my favorite all-time
cartoon is the
The standards: Warner Brothers and Disney. I was a pretty big of Sports Goofy. It kind of bothered me to see slapstick getting a bad name a few years back, my parents knew enough to keep me away from canyons and anvils.
Snorks, Smurfs, Pac-Man, Care Bears, Transformers, Thundercats, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Gummi Bears, Disney shorts, Looney Tunes shorts, Kissifur, Muppet Babies. . .I don't know. All the stuff they were showing in the 80's.
Thundercats, Inspector gadget.. child of the '80s..
Bugs Bunny with my father.
I formed the habit of reading by 1944 and television didn't arrive in our house until 1947 when I was set in my ways. I'm not sure when the Saturday Morning Cartoons (let alone the after school cartoons) arrived, but I was hooked on books by then.
I watched lots of cartoons. My favorite (still is) was Bugs Bunny. But I also liked The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, and Mr. Magoo.
The classic Disney cartoons. At the movies.
Scooby Doo, Captain Caveman, Land of the Lost, HR Puffinstuff, Hong Kong Phooey...geez...I'm really dating myself! Haha!
Just a few that I remember... Woody Woodpecker, Heckle and Jeckle, Transformers, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., actually, pretty much all of the cartoons that I could, and that wern't girly.
Popeye, Felix the Cat, Disney cartoons on the Mickey Mouse Club, and the Warner Brothers cartoons with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig.
