Where did you go on your last trip?

I went to London for a few days this week.

Alas, I can not remember any trips. No money for vacations.

My last trip was to Stratford, Ontario, Canada to see three plays. I saw Present Laughter, Gigi, and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I also went on the costume warehouse tour and saw an exhibit of quilts by the Quilt Project, a breast cancer support group.

At the beginning of February, I took a trip up the Columbia River Gorge for a brief stay at the Bonneville Hotel and Spa. My last big trip was to the East Coast in October, flying into Baltimore and out of Albany. The between the two, I crammed in a lot of sightseeing and visits to family and friends.

Depends on what you're counting as a trip. I went to Des Moines a few days ago. I've been to Illinois to see my husband's family. My last big trip was probably to Wisconsin, if I had to guess. We've also been to Minnesota and Colorado within the last year or so.

Extensive-long-time-in-the-car the last one was off to Whitby in north yorkshire. That was November last year.

Trip-to-somewhere-unexciting was earlier this afternoon when I drove to a friends work place to
interview her for my dissertation, and then on to the home of another guy I needed to interview. Then I came home again. Dead exciting!

Alice, 23

To the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee during the Civil War, through Sharon McCrumb's book "Ghost Riders".

Jill, 61

Alaska...which, ironically, is where I am going this summer...back where I belong...inspired by my new hero...Alex Supertramp...who gave all his money to charity, burned the money in his wallet, abandoned his car, and entered the wilderness and wound up starving to death...although that was not his intention... he is totally a hep cat.
