Would
you like to be able to fly?Absolutely.
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA USA
Yes, as I fly in my dreams--without
heavier-than-air hardware.
Jill, 60
Saylorsburg, PA USA
I would LOVE it! That would be so
awesome...free as a bird!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
I don't know. That's a tough one. I mean
what would I have to take to become airborne? Would it be some new drugs that have a
myriad of side effects (diarrhea in the skies would not be good)? Or, would I have to have
some sort of surgery and have wings implanted? I'm not too big on plastic surgery -- look
how Cher and Joan Rivers have turned out. Besides, isn't the atmosphere too smoggy to
enjoy flying in? And then you'd have to clear flight plans with an air traffic controller.
And last but not least, you'd probably have to wear some ridiculous get-up to protect
yourself from the elements, probably similar to the horrendous things people wear whilst
skiing. No thanks. I wouldn't want to become a Sky Bunny wearing a polyester coat and
matching pink boots.
Keri-Jade, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
To pilot a plane? I have no interest
in that. To glide through the air as I swim through water would be wonderful. But I
suspect if everyone could do it, the traffic jams would
be horrendous -- much harder to control than ground traffic.
Jane, 62
West Linn, OR
USA
Sure. I think it'd be really cool to be able
to go up above everything else.
Angela, 18
Bella Vista, AR USA
Yes. I always wanted to be able to soar
above the tree tops and look down at the earth.
Janet, 44
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
I like to fly safely within the confines of
an airplane.
Laura, 36
Lowell, MA
USA
nah......it's not like i'd be afraid. ..i'm
gonna bungee jump and do a parachute jump sometime in the next 5 years or so. ..and I'm
sure it would be fun for a little while but I see enough from outside a plane window
to satisfy me. . .
mothmc, 37
Los Angeles, CA USA
more than anything in the world I
would love to fly...
Nikki, 27
Kirkham ENGLAND
I can fly. All I have to do is get on a
plane. I guess being able to fly without aircraft would be nice. I do like flying,
although I really don't like planes--I feel too cooped up in them. Being able to move
around while flying would be fun.
Karen, 22
Marshalltown/Ames, IA USA
Of course. I've always had dreams about
moving through the air, about 3 feet over folks heads, just sort of doing my thing. Used
to be coupled with a dream about shapeshifting into an Eagle.
Firelady, 23
Dallas, TX
USA
Now and then.
Alias Irrelevante
Since Frodo is asking this, I will assume he
means fly by one's own steam and not board a plane. :) Sure, I'd love to be able to
fly...save on gas and a lot less swearing.
Fisch, 46
Preston, CT
USA
Oh yes, I would love to be able to
fly! I dream that I am flying all the time. Sometimes I'm able to take control in my
dreams, and that's when I enjoy the flying the most.
That would be the ultimate wish come true.
Lisa J., 23
TN USA
Of course!
Eric, 19
Beverly Hills, CA USA
Hell yes.
Talia, 24
Wilton, CT
USA
i CAN fly.
A-Dog, 19
McMinnville, OR USA
I would love to be able to fly!
Reba, 50+
Silver Spring, MD USA
Yes. I'm trying to think of bad
things that could be involved withf lying, but I can't.
I'd just have to be cautious.
Johanna, 18
OK USA
yeah, I'd be able to get places faster.
Patty
Hell yeah, that would be sweet. But I'd like
it selectively; I wouldn't want to freak out and abuse it all the time.
Katie2, 18
Detroit, MI
USA
yes- because then i wouldn't have to worry
about accidentally catching a flight on Air Al Quaeda.
Maggie, 22
Sandwich, IL
USA
No way. Not by myself or in a plane.
Laney
TX USA
Yes it would be cool unless you were
afraid of falling!
DJ, 15
Saskatchewan CANADA
Sure! Why not? It would make commuting a
whole lot easier.
Nicci, 27
Las Vegas, NV
USA
Yeah I would like to fly. I think it would
be pretty cool as long as I wasnt stuck only being able to fly that might suck.
Christina
MI USA
Hell yeah, that would be sweet. But I'd like
it selectively; I wouldn't want to freak out and abuse it all the time.
Katie2, 18
Ann Arbor, MI
USA
I'd love to fly in any way possible.
It would be marvelous to do so without machinery however.
Felicia, 35
Lowell, MA
USA
Maybe. But if everyone else was able to fly
too, it would be just a big mess.
Stephanie, 25
TX USA
Yes. I've
dreamed I was flying on a few occassions and I sometimes I can let myself daydream about
it and still feel the exhiliration I was feeling in my dreams... strange, but it felt so
real. So yes, I would like to be able to fly.
Doug2, 29
Overland Park, KS USA
Would I
like to be able to fly? Well, yeah, that would reek of awesomeness...Like, I would just
flap my wings, and swing by Alaska, Russia, Australia, or Antartica, you know, just to
relax...I define flying in the sense of flapping my arms and flying...like, in a dream I
had several years ago, I was in NYC with my family (in the dream), and I started flapping
my arms, and I flew around the city. When I landed, I saw Frank Sinatra drinking out of a
paper bag...
Frodo
age unknown, parts unknown
Not
really. Doesn't appeal to me.
