is your favorite ethnic cuisine?
I adore Japanese cuisine, and I'm also fond of Indian curries.
Love any of the Asian food groups.
Generally Indian or Thai, but at the moment I'm favoring Italian and the other mediterranean areas.
Ethnic restaurants are a bit thin on the ground in my neck of the woods, but I enjoy trying food that I've never had and probably wouldn't attempt to cook.
My favourite is probably Nepalese. We have a reallynice Nepalese restaurant in Winchester (I think due to our connectings with the Guhrkas). It's very similar to Indian, but not quite the same. I love Indian and Chineese too, but not ~quite~ as much.
Have no particular favorite at this time.
In town there's a place called the Southeast Asian. It's Cambodian, Thai, Laotian... a couple others I think. If anyone's interested they're working on shipping frozen. http://www.foodventure.com/
Chinese, definitely. It's what I was raised on, so that's my version of down-home cooking. The only thing we don't do right is desserts.
It changes. I've been working in a city with a large Hispanic population, so I'm becoming an expert on Latin foods.
*shrug* I like fortune cookies and frybread and crostini and croissants and all kinds of things. : )
I guess Italian.
