How
much television do you watch?Hasn't this question allready been asked? It really depends
on my mood. Sometimes I watch a couple hours a day, sometimes I spend the whole day in
front of the TV, but most days, I watch little or no TV at all.

Not much at all really. I didn't have cable
for two years, so I had 4 1/2 channels to choose from. I think this is when I developed my
Antiques Roadshow fetish. Now that I'm living with the parental unit, I watch a bit more
TV (they actually have cable) but there's still not much on. I much

Probably a half hour a day.

Highlands Ranch, CO
very very little
Angela, 16
SC
I usually watch an hour or so a
night after work, more on the weekends when I head out
to my fiancee's...he's got satellite TV with a lot of channels that I really like (the
Food Network, the movie channels, etc.).

Depends. . .sometimes a lot, sometimes
almost none.

Marshelltown/Ames, IA
Tons (3-5 hours a day). I suck it up. Even
the bad, cheesy made-for-TV movies on Lifetime. That said, I still read lots and consider
myself an engage and articlulate person.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Since I don't own a TV, I hardly
watch TV at all. The little I see is usually at my sister's house when I visit a few times
a year and I usually go into the other room to read when it's on. I find it unbelievably stupid.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
not nearly enough these days. .
about an hour a day. . maybe. .
mothmc, 35
Los Angeles, LA
At least an hour, but usually 5-6
hours a day, easy.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
None.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
I don't have the television hooked
up at my place but at my girlfriend's I watch maybe 8-10 hours a week. We mainly watch
Comedy Central, the Game Show Network and Don't Try
This @ Home (She thinks the host is cute).
Alias Irrelevante
I watch about 3 hours a night. Some of my
favorites are The X-Files, The FBI Files, Dr. Who, Maude, Star Trek, The Inside, The
Sopranos, ARLISS!!, Lavern & Shirley, The Jeffersons and The Simpsons!
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
A couple of hours a day.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
A heck of a lot less than I did when
I was a kid. I honestly have no guess as to hours, but
now it's not like oh this is on, gotta watch it. It's more a matter of oh look the TV, I'm
bored of the net, it's hot as hell outside, watch the animal show for a while then find
something else to do. And my b/f
Firelady, 22

I rarely watch t.v. When I do, I like to
watch documentaries and movies. I'd say I watch three or four hours a week if
there's anything on that's worth seeing.
Amber, 21
Hammond, LA
Too much, considering we don't even have
cable TV. A couple of hours a night. I believe that this time could be much better spent
making art, writing letters, eating a good meal (at the table), taking a walk. I am lured
in by the garbage. A world without 90210? How can it be. I am one of those people who
claims to watch with a critical eye, loving and
Tina, 31

I watch the Today show in the morning and
sometimes Oprah right after. I usually see some of the news around dinnertime. The only
sitcom Iwatch religiously is 'Friends' (I know, that's pretty lame!). For some reason
can't sit down and watch a whole drama - I get bored! I've never even seen a whole episode
of 'ER'! I like the news shows a lot, like 'Dateline'. I watch a little VH1 and I
absolutely love 'E - Entertainment'. I have no idea

Simpsons and Futurama. So, that's 1 hour a week for the 7-8 months they air new
episodes. 28-32 hours a year.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
I watch a lot more during the school year
than I do in the summer. However, many of the shows I watched got canceled for next
year so maybe I won't be watching as much as usual. I'm ready to watch the Olympics
though!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
The only shows I watch are Days of our
Lives, Passions, Friends, Dateline, and MYOB.
Melodi, 19
Hlliard, OH
Probably far too much. I don't watch as much
television as most people, but there are certain programmes that I simply have to watch,
no matter what happens.
Shanna, 15
Cardiff ENGLAND
Far too much I suppose. And I watch at least
one movie a day.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
Way too much!
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA
I actually watch very little television,
maybe two hours maximum each day, althought the television seems to be on constantly in my
house.
