Do you smoke cigarettes?
Nope. Thats one
bad habit ive managed to avoid.

Not now. I was
a heavy smoker for 35 years but stopped because I didn't like belonging
to a peer group of stupid people.

Yes. They've got
a pretty good hold on me. I thoroughly enjoy each one of the 10 per day
that I allow myself. It's a rotten stinking ucky habit among many other
types of rotten stinking ucky habits in this world. I'm considerate as
hell where my smoking is concerned, but I don't take kindly to lectures.
I suppose if this vice, tied in with all else that I am, makes me an intolerable
ogre of some sort, then best to stay far, far away.

I quit in 1975.
My husband still smokes, not usually in the house, though. I wish he'd
quit too.

About 2 or 3 times
a year I have a cigarette with a drink.

No. I would but
too much of a waste of money.

I've had about
5 cigarettes in my entire life and I was either extremely drunk or spinning
out of control.
Felicia,

Occasionally, but
I don't make a habit of it - I tend to smoke a full packet in a day and
then go weeks without any. The last time I smoked was at the beginning
of July.
Aly,

Nope. I have smoked
a few cigarettes in my life, but never regularly, not lately, and may
or may not ever do so again.
Cristin,

Only somtimes when
I am out drinking with friends and I want one. Other than that, nope!

weeks once...

Gross no. Why would
anyone intentionally do that to their bodies?
Stephanie,

No, just the occasional
small cigar (Al Capone's).

I've never smoked.

Not any more. I
smoked off and on for about 10 years. Salem Slim Lights. Menthol. I still
have cravings every now and again even though I quit smoking almost six
years ago. I quit cold turkey - no patch or anything. I couldn't go to
visit my grandmother - who was dying of lung cancer - smelling like cigarette
smoke. She never said a word to me and I never smoked in front of her.
She smoked for 50 years. She quit about eight years before she was diagnosed.
When you are young it is impossible to see the future, but I would advise
teens and young folks visit someone with lung cancer. It is a horrible,
lingering death. I don't mean to preach. Most folks say "well, I'm
going to die of something..." Trust me, you don't want to die that
way.

You
know I do. Coffee and cigarettes. I would love to quit though.
KarenNJ,

I
smoked for five years (high school) and then quite for five years (university).
Then I started again this year and smoked for...about five months. I quit
for four weeks, then had a relapse this Sunday. Since then I've been a
non-smoker though. :)

Yes,
unfortunately. I smoked as a teenager. Quit in my early twenties and now
I have been smoking on and off for the last 5 years. I just can not seem
to quit permanently.
