What
is your favored form of communication?TALKING...THE 'OL FASHIONED WAY!!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Face to face conversation.
Jill, 60
Saylorsburg, PA USA
I like my cellphone, but email is
fast and convenient, too. But the cellphone is the best.
Katie, 25
Seminole, FL
USA
E-mail -- it is the most convenient for
everyone. It's a special advantage because I live on the West coast and often want to
communicate with people on the East coast.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
USA
Post-it notes.
Alias Irrelevante
Depends on the circumstance. Face to face
with family and friends. At work I prefer email over phone.
Laura, 36
Lowell, MA
USA
Generally in person.
Karen, 21
Marshelltown/Ames, IA USA
I like using the phone a lot, but I
would have to say that I prefer using e-mail... it's
easier to reach a bunch of people at the same time, and sometimes it's easier to express a
thought or feeling if you can type it instead of say it.
Jeremy, 14
Highlands Ranch, CO USA
email, then face to face, then writing. I
hate to talk on the phone.
Felicia, 35
Lowell, MA
USA
I enjoy the internet email and writing
letters for communication. I can say things better in writing than I might say in
speaking. Though I am sincere in what ever I write or say. It is just easier in writing to
tell my feelings etc.
Marci, 56
Diamond, OH
USA
This really depends on who I'm communicating
with. If I'm talking to someone I like, then I'd like to talk to them face-to-face. If I'm
talking to someone I don't like, then I'd like it to be in an e-mail or a letter or and IM
or something.
Eric, 19
Beverly Hills, CA USA
I love the internet! I love chatting with
people online because I get a chance to think about what I'm saying before I actually send
the message. But in person is always the best, I'd take that over anything. After those
two is the phone.
Dianne, 16
Ontario CANADA
I like writing and sign language. I
find it easier to communicate in writing, and I prefer
the expressiveness of sign language. I am, however, most fluent in spoken English. When
writing I tend to fuss with grammar and diction to the point of overkill.
etoile, 20

Written.

talking face to face...i hate phones and
instant messenging.

i'd have to say talking one on one would be
my favoured form of communication. using email or chat-rooms is too impersonal.

Screaming.
A-Dog, 18

face to face
Angela, 16

A quick punch to the head. *g* Just kidding.
The written word, probably. :)
Talia, 23
Wilton, CT
USA
Face to face. There is so much that is
expressed through body language and intonation that can't be seen or heard on the phone or
in an email. There is a depth to face to face communication that any other form
lacks.
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
USA
The language of love. hehe
Stephanie, 25
TX USA
i like all forms of communication and
talking to people. but i have to say i like in person the best, it brings you closer to
the person you're talking to than the phone or online.

5 hour phone conversation when we both
should be fast asleep. (quote derived from Train's "Drops of Jupiter"
Anjel, 20
E-Mail. You have time to think out what you
are saying, but it does not take a long time to arrive at it's destination. You also hear
back quicker if the respondant is regular on E-Mail.

Verbal. I absolutely HATE the telephone with
all my heart. Unless it' with my best friend, I run out of things to say and I act
differently when talking to people over the phone. Plus, it always rings when I'm watching
something good on tv. IM's can get annoying if I just want to surf the net for a while.
Nothing's better than talking to people face to face.

Writing
letters and getting them is beautiful - straying into a good friend on chat or a forum is
nice -waking up cause someone is calling you, from afar, to say something sweet, is one of
the most dreamy things - but the best thing remains meeting up, seeing someone and talking
- talking with gestures and looks and hugs as well as words.
