Do
you think non-human life forms will ever be discovered on other planets?Probably, but we're
still a long way away from developing that kind of technology. It wouldn't be even close
to this lifetime!

It would be extreme arrogance to think that
other life doesn't exist somewhere, out there. Whether we will ever connect with it? It is
for the future to say.
Felicia, 35

I think so. I don't know if that will be
anywhere near as interesting as they're hoping it will be, though. Whatever they find, I
just hope it's neutral or good and that the humans who find it can use good judgement.

I would like to think there could be
some life-form on other planets. I don't know if, in my
lifetime, science and man will get that far. But I'd like to think there is.
Fisch, 45
Preston, CT

I think if given enough time and the proper
searching, I think it's very possible. I don't see why we have to be the only ones here.
Since there is infinate space, I don't see why not.
Stephanie, 25

Yes.

I hope so, there haven't been any really
good ultra cheesy sci fi horror films in a while...Gerbils from Mars, that'd be scary.
Alias Irrelevante
Like that fossilized bacterium they already
found on Mars, you mean?
Karen, 21
Marshelltown/Ames, IA USA
Yes, of course. Probably not in this solar
system though. There's absolutely no reason to believe that ours is the only life form in
the entire universe.
Reba, 51
Rockville, MD
USA
Yes I do believe there are other forms of
life on the planets. Why I believe this I really don't know. But if we can have life on
our planet why should we not believe there could not be life on the other planets.
Marci, 56
Diamond, OH
USA
Yes. I think it'd be ignorant to
assume that life will only develop on earth. However, I don't think life will be
discovered on any of the planets in our solar system.
Shanna, 16

I think we might discover life on other
planets in my lifetime, but I don't think it will be other sentient beings with whom we'll
be able to communicate. We might find alien larvae or something but Isuspect that'll be
all I'll get to see. Perhaps someday we'll meet other intelligent races.
etoile, 20

I sure hope so. Truthfully, I think Aliens
are our friends, not our enemies. They would be here to help us, to keep us from
destroying ourselves. Of course, if I were them, I would stay on their own planets,
becuase why would they want to hang around here. They are probably happy in their own
worlds, but like the X-files says, the truth is out there.

Hi,
I cannot believe that anyone would take that question seriously. But considering that the
majority of people taking part in this survey are from America, I suppose this might seem
serious enough for those people. I do not believe that there are non-human life forms,
because we would have found them during our many years of space travel. Yes, there might
be sightings of "ufo's" in the night, but how reliable are these sources? They
are just after there 15 minutes of fame just like every other person in this world and
making up a story like that about Roswell is there chance. So, all you Americans make up
all the stories you want about funny little green men - because without American's the
world would have nothing to laugh at.
Brad, 20
Sydney AUSTRALIA
Yes. Whether they will be of human
intelligence, I do not know. But, I am sure there is
life of some kind out there somewhere.
Deb
Weren't some living organisms already
discovered? I don't think there are martians or anything, but sure, there can be other life
forms...we're narrow minded to think we are the only life in the galaxy.
Angela, 16
Bella Vista, AR USA
Why not?
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR

Nonhuman life forms have already discovered
you, you lowly earthlings.
Talia, 23
Wilton, CT

What do you mean by life forms? I'm sure
there's plants and stuff, but I don't think we'll ever discover aliens or anything.
Jennifer, 19
Wilkes-Barre, PA USA
yup
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Definitely. The chances of us being the only
life out there are incredibly minute when one considers the vast size of space beyond
us...
Johanna, 18
OK USA
possibly. One million Art Bell fans can't be
wrong.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
Actually,
I think they already have been discovered, but most people just don't know about it. Not
that there are actually "intelligent" non-human life forms, but I think life has
been discovered on other planets. . . even if it is as small as bacteria or something.
