A few weeks ago I saw Whitesnake! They were fabulous, and it was a good night out, which we really needed, as we'd been told the night before than my partners best friend had died that weekend. (We weren't in the mood to go, but we knew he would be cross if we missed it on his account).
Whitesnake were brilliant, as were the first band, Y&T (I still don't know who they are!), but Garry Moore (from Thin Lizzy) was in between, and was boring - lots of long, self-indulgent guitar solos!

I went to a concert in December and it was to see Korn. I went to a local club this past Friday the 13th and saw Powerman5000. My favorite concert I ever went to though was last February when I went to the first Projekt Revolution with Linkin Park/Adema/ Cypress Hill.

I haven't been to a concert in about 2 years... but the last person I saw was Bob Dylan. Prior to that I saw Diana Krall and she knocked my socks off! I took my daughter to see Art Garfunkel about 5 years ago and we had a blast.

Friday I saw the
Starlight Drifters, a "rock-a-billy style band". It was a free
concert in downtown
Plymouth in the park. The band was pretty good and the people were fun
to watch. There was an old man with a derby hat, a red vest, and a cane
dancing by himself in front of the bandstand. There were two couples swing
dancing, and lots of parents with toddlers just jumping around. There
was a young man playing air guitar on almost every song. Just in front
of me was a three-generation family celebrating somebody's birthday. There
were lots of families with strollers and/or dogs just walking through
the park, too.
