I guess it's not really a painting, but there is a woodblock print, by Ando Hiroshige, of Kanbara covered in snow...

I can't come up with one favorite, but I like the impressionists. Degas and Monet. And I like Thomas Kinkade.

Can't say I have one... not much of an artsy person. Although, my aunt is a very accomplished painter and my mom is very good also. I guess anything done by either of those two people would be my favorite.

I don't have a "favorite" painting. Perhaps I'm not visually oriented.

this is a bit generic, but I've always loved "The Tragedy" by Picasso. His blue period is my favorite. Also, I love "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth. I go for the whole isolationist thing.

Starry night, Van Gogh.

I really don't have one. Sorry, that I couldn't answer this question. But I really do like landscapes of the countryside, if that helps a bit.

That is a really good question. I don't know the answer. All I can think of is Starry Night. . .oh, there's this painting I have in my room. I don't like the painter's stuff that much in general--she does sheep, mostly, with pale fadey backgrounds, but this one is of a crow and it's fabulous. Gifts at Dawn, I think it's called. Then my mom has a painting of Taos Bookshop that I like. I'm also pretty fond of this painting my brother did for me of Yoda when we were kids. I think it's paint-by-number or something, but it's on cardboard and it glows in the dark. I'm sure there are others I can't think of.

My favorite painting is one of a fish done by my son in second grade. I had it professionally framed, and it hangs in my living room. It looks like something done by Van Gogh. As for REAL artwork, done by someone famous...I dont know. There are so many that I like. I think that just about anything done by Mary Cassatt is beautiful.

I don't have a favorite painting, but I am currently interested in Vermeer's works and his use of light. I'm not a fan of the impressionists, though and appreciate modern and contemporary works. Also, if I ever were to have a portrait painted I wish Sargent were still alive to do it.

I like so many but Van Gaugh's Starry Night.

Saw this one a few years back called "Violince." It was just a violin with teeth on the bow but I liked it, probably because of the title.

Alias Irrelevante

Almost anything by Alberto Vargas. He is amazing...

Midsummer's Night - a lady standing in a fairy ring I forget who it's by.

Any of those 17th century Dutch ones that do such marvelous things with light.

Monet's Japanese bridge and the waterlilies. I have a huge one framed and hanging over my living room couch!

Christina's World, by Andrew Wyeth, is my favorite painting.

There's one where there are doctors in a girl's sick room. It's from the 18 hundreds or something. I like it alot (even though I have idea that name or artist).
