What would it
take to make you happy as a ghost?Mystic Pizza.
Anthony, 24
Baton Rouge, LA
I just finished reading the first three
Harry Potter books and I certainly wouldn't want to haunt a retched place like an out of
the way girl's bathroom like one of the ghosts in that story. I would be happy if I
haunted a place that was bright and sunny with nature around it and always a happy influx
of new people. It wouild be bore to haunt some highway median where I died in fiery car
crash. Although to be the mysterious hitchhiker that became part of a local legend,
that would have some attraction to it even though as a ghost I wouldn't know that I
suppose.

I'd like to be able to audit the
lives of a collection of people who are accomplishing good in this world with seasonings
of humor and wit.

A nice living environment with a
family who is accepting of my presence. I'm very interested in ghosts anyway and have
thought a lot about this. I feel that if the family who
is currently occupying my "haunt" is treating the place with the love and
respect that I have treated it with, I would make my presence a happy one.
Lindsay, 21
Harrisonburg, VA
I 'd have to be able to have some kind of
effect on my environment--because if you can't do anything, what's the point of being
around? I'd have to have companionship of some kind, 'cuz I wouldn't like to not have
anybody to tell stories to or just hang out with. It would be nice to be able to take naps
if I got bored--'cuz after a while, it'd get to the point where I'd seen everything &
done everything.

Assuming that I believe in
ghosts.... I think I'd want to haunt a house where the
people thought it was fun to have a paranormal entity around.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
I was inclined to think this was
some kind of expression, like, "happy as a
lark." but then Igot it. I would definitely like to be able to see people, but not
have them see me, because that's way too scary. The thought of ghosts to be is terribly
scary, but I'm sure if I was one I wouldn't think that and I'd forget that people are
scared of them. I would like to be able to go to heaven, at least.
Elizabeth, 18
Rochester, MN
What the hell does that mean?
Alias Irrelevante
I would have to live in a big drafty castle
with lots of books, tours, and country parties. And a cool name, of course. Something like
"The Bloofer Lady" or "Leakin' Louise." The best ghosts always have
silly names.

If I die before my future husband,
I'd be happiest if I could remain around our house and
see him every day. I'd also like him to know that I was there, just so he'd feel my
presence. It sounds kind of weird, but it would make me the happiest ghost there was.

(Again, I
don't get this question. . .are ghost's happy? . . I don't believe I've ever heard that. .
.) Maybe achieving my career and personal goals. . .

Knowing
that I would be in heaven soon.

I don't
really get this question, but I would happily haunt a few people I know.
