What is your favorite type of weather?

Transitional weather. The best is a crisp, bright sunny day in late September / early October when the sky is crystal blue and the leaves are brightly turning and falling and it is cold enough to wear a light jacket but warm enough not to need gloves. On days like this you can smell the earth decaying and it is glorious.

Sunny, slight breeze, 70-80 degrees

I'm partial to thunderstorms, but anything other than hot is okay with me.

I'm very partial to transition days--a bright blue sky, a brisk breeze, temperature in the mid-sixties. In weather like this, I can accomplish my good intentions

I love a good thunderstorm.

I like the fact that weather in New England changes. Except for the humidity I like all the weather in New England. I get excited about the first flowers in spring and about the first snow in the fall. I love a rain storm especially with thunder and lightning. And I'm always shocked at how green it gets when all the leaves come out in spring. And those same trees in fall are truly amazing.

Summer sun..beach weather.

Warm and breezy. Like at the end of Spring or the beginning of Fall.

Cold, clear post snow weather. Something that I haven't seen in my 16 years in the South. Just for a while, everything looks clean and absolved. Down here,  noone is innocent.

I think I like severe thunderstorms that last all day on my day off from work. . .

In the spring when it's about 50 degrees, rainy, cloudy, and windy. I always seem to be much more cheerful in that type of weather. I'm glad it doesn't happen every day, either, because then it would be too common.

a dark and humid thunderstorm with strong winds.

I adore storms, but only if I'm safe in my bed with a book and coffee.  Otherwise, I love Louisiana winters. Those days are usually about 40 degrees, sunny, and absolutely gorgeous.

Summer weather, definitely. I love warm summer mornings and cool evenings more than anything else. Plus, everyone seems to be very care-free, which is so relaxing.

My father used to call me wierd because I wasn't as big a fan of sunny days as "everyone else" was. I believe that anything that you consider a favorite means nothing in itself, like a favorite color. Its simply the feelings that your brain has linked to these external stimuli over the coarse of your lifetime.

I enjoy sunny days just like everyone else, because it's an excuse,  or maybe a signal, to go outside, at the beach, to the mountains, to the park, or whatever. However, the most intense feelings of an undefinable pleasure due to the weather occurs, with me, on rainy days, especially thunderstorms or heavy downpoars. Not just while it's raining, but also after the storm. I like the smell of the clean air after a rainstorm.  I like being at the beach, drinking a cup of coffee, hearing thunder in the distance, seeing the rain fall on the ocean, under a canapy at a coffee shop or something. I especially like it when it does a lot of damage and you get to see, like, broken telephone lines and trees crashed into houses and stuff.

I enjoy sunny, but not too sunny days in Fall weather. With leaves just turning and a light wind blowing. Good football weather.  Summer is nice however, because there's no school!

Mid-80s, moderate humidity, hot sun and an ocean breeze.
