Would you rather go to a restaurant or stay home to eat?

i would rather eat in a restaurant as long as i don' t have to pay!

Jennifer, 19

I enjoy ethnic restaurant food that I can't/won't cook for myself. I get quite huffy paying for food that I could cook better myself--on the otherhand, I take comfort that I'm also paying for the grocery shopping, the serving and the cleaning up as well as for the food. Restaurant cooking makes a delightful change in my routine, but I'm also quite happy eating from my own larder.

I would rather stay at home to eat...once in awhile go out so there's no mess to clean up.

That all depends on when and what the food is and who I'm with and stuff.

I like to eat out cause usually I'm the one who has to cook if we stay home and eat.

It depends on my mood. There are definitely days where I prefer to pay strangers to cook for me.

I like to have really good food in an atmospheric setting. Doesn't matter if it is at a resturaunt, at home, at a friend's or a family gathering.

Restaurant, but not all the time.

I prefer hit-and-run eat outs, not quite fast food things like sub shops and buffets

It depends on my mood, the people involved and what else is going on. Cooking is more fun with an appreciative audience. I've been organizing a dinner for my gourmet group, in which each of us prepares a dish and then we gather for a leisurely meal.

Depends on what kind of mood I am in. My fiancee and I do eat out a lot, but I still like to stay at home for supper time.

Anything to get out of my house is a good thing.

Restaurant without a doubt. My culinary skills are VERY limited.

I always love nice restaurants. Fancy ones, not like, McDonalds or something. But my mom is a good cook too, so both are usually pretty good.

I prefer the ease of going to a restaurant, but not the price. If I had someone else to cook for me, I'd stay home. I prefer to be very casual when eating at home; holiday dinners with everyone stiff and formal annoy me.

Restaurants, although sometimes nothing is better than a home cooked steak with baked potatoes and salad.

A nice home cooked meal sounds good to me

I would rather go to a restaurent. It costs so much to buy the groceries for two and cook it is cheaper to go out and eat. And we don't eat second servings when we go out to eat. That helps the weight problem too.

Restaurant-if I ate at home I'd get fat..all fried foods thanks to the southern grandma. :)

I would rather go to a restaurant to eat. If you stay home you have to wash dishes and clean-up. but I do however enjoy an occasional meal at home.

I love going out to eat, but it gets old after a while. Ideally, eating at a restaurant two nights or so a week would be the way for me to go.

I always want to go out to eat. I hate buying groceries and cooking is a so so task. I prefer to eat and not have to wash the dishes.

Tina, 31

I'd rather go to a restaurant.

Kevin, 33

I like going out, but only because it gives me a chance to get out during the school week.

That very much depends on what restaurant, who's paying, who's house, and who's cleaning up.
