If
you could embroider an old-fashioned sampler with a moral text, what would that text be?Do unto others as you
would have them do to you.

"Accept that your life will never be
normal and go on from there." It was something my best friend in high school said
without thinking one day, and as soon as she said it we all realized there was a LOT of
truth to it.

Do unto others as you would have them do
unto you. It's been found that the Golden Rule is the common bond among virtually
all religions.

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world
to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning
of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.

I can't answer that. There are people under

Being a guy named Bruno, odds are pretty
slim that I do much embroidering. That is like asking Stone Cold Steve Austin if he does
ballet. Anyhow, that would have to be from Socrates (not sure of the exact wording).
Like "A wise man knows how ignorant he is." Socrates reeks of awesomeness. Also,
I would put up a quote from Homer Simpson: "To alcohol, the cause of and solution to
all of lifes problems." Frankly, embrodering is not my bag, not that I will have a
cow about it, since I'll just knock myself out...whatever works for me.

I don't know if these count as moral texts,
but I'd still embroider them. Actually, no, I'd pay someone to embroider them FOR
me, but there'd be that same sentimental attachment. "Always late but worth the
wait." "Those who think they know everything are a real annoyance to those of us
who do." :-) Just kidding, but I like those two sayings.

I would embroider the Serenity prayer as I
have used it to direct me in my daily life many times. Lord help me to accept the things I
cannot change and help me to change the things I can. My dad lived by that toward the end
of his lfe.
