What one thing (thought, person, place, smell, sound or taste) makes you
the happiest you could ever be?

This is a hard
question because there are so many things that make me happy: Seeing my
husband after an extended time apart, the smell of bacon frying, the smell
of a wildflower, and the thought of going on vacation in an RV. But I
guess I'd have to say that the thing that makes me happiest is the sound
of spring peepers, those little frogs that you hear in the early spring.

Well, this has
several different components...so I will answer...whatever...
a) Thought...thinking of the Legendary Big Guy Sarge makes you the happiest
you could ever be?
a1) special props go to the thought of having a real job.
a2) also, the thought of completing the crappy crap I am writing
a3) The thought of Alaska, bears, hiking in Alaska, snow, glaciers, everything
about Alaska...'Needles' the porcupine, and 'Hugo' the Grizzly
b) Person My brother...natch...there is no mortal I...look up to...
c) smell: the smell of old books
c1) the smell of a anchiove pizza
d) Taste: Alaskan crabs (from Gwennies in Anchorage)
d1) Reindeer Omellette (from Gwennies)
d2) Alaskan King Crabs (Gwennies)
d3) Alaskan Salmon (Gwennies)

My husband's love.
Although I have to say--happiness is more of a composite thing.

I'd say the majority
of the time, that "thing" would be my wife. I've never been
happier than I am right now. Of course, there are those times when she
drives me batty. I guess during those times that "thing" would
be my knowledge that my wife USUALLY makes me very happy.

The smell of boxwood
bushes. They have the sweetest, most intoxicating smell and instantly
take me back to my Nana and PopPop's house when I was young. It's all
good memories of family, fun and love!
