Have you ever
dabbled in the occult?I played with a Ouija board once. It really did move by
itself. It was cool.
Socrates One
Lowell, MA
No. I have no interest in such
things
Kathy, 26
Garden City, MI
No. Never.
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
Not really. I have a few Ozzy records if
that counts.
Alias Irrelevante
Using a Ouija board in my parents' basement
with my brother, sister and neighborhood friends creeped me out. Have off and on used
astrology and tarot cards to sort out various issues. None in any seriousness.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Personally, now I have not dabbled
in the occult, although I did kind of enjoy reading
about it.
Ernest, 28
Washington, DC
No, I'm just barely 18 and a
faithful Christian. There's no reason for me to "dabble" in the occult.
Sarah
Roseburg, OR
Yes, I think all kids do.
Lindsay, 21
Harrisonburg, VA
I read the tarot cards for my own amusement
and mental clarification. They usually advise me to stop contemplating the problem and
begin dealing with the problem.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
Yes, in a manner of speaking. I find
Catholicism so much more fascinating and dark than any
other pagan religion, neo or otherwise. Besides, Catholicism's roots in paganism are quite
fascinating.
Amy, 23
Baton Rouge, LA
Not that I know of.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
I had a ouija board tell me that I
would die at 104 of a "hart attik" in the "shouwr", and that I would
be married to "Carl". Proving that the literacy rate in the spirit world is
attrocious. Also, after I broke up with my first
girlfriend, she apparently burnt me in effigy.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
No.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
to say I've dabbled would be misleading.
Instead I would say I jumoed in head first.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
A little bit, never anything serious. I've
tried some spells and played with an ouija board, but hasn't everyone done that?
Aurora, 17
Montreal, Quebec CANADA
I can't reveal that.

Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
Short answer: yes. We'll leave it at that.
Firelady, 22
Dallas, TX
Yes. From a really early age. I would have
to say first grade in all honesty. I was never told it was wrong or would make me an
outcast in many ways, even though I was raised Roman Catholic. Now, I do not practice any
form of the occult, except the ouija board on occassion, just for grins and giggles. But
there will always be a soft spot in my heart for it.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
No.
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
Not really. One slumber party with a
Ouija board and I didn't really want anything to do
with it. Also my mother-in-law reads Tarot cards and she's indulged my curiosity by
reading my cards.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
for like
a month, but it scared me to death
Angela, 16
Bella Vista, AK
Only the Ouija board as a teenager. Does
that count?
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ
not
really. . . .I would enjoy a creative Tao reading if someone had a good schtick going. . .
