Have you ever been seriously upset or angered by a
question asked here, or any of the responses? No. Occasionally, I've been
confused.
Jane, 60 West Linn, OR USA No, but sometimes I choose not to answer because I don't have enough background on certain subjects to offer a valid opinion. Jennifer, 19 Wilkes-Barre, PA USA Surprised at times and maybe disappointed. On the rare occasion I have come to a new understanding of something. But I'm fascinated by what people think, depsite whether or not I agree or like what they say (or should I say write). Felicia, 35 Lowell, MA USA Seriously upset? No. Saddened, perhaps, but not upset. Jill, 60 Saylorsburg, PA USA i haven't checked the responses, but no I don't find the questions offensive. Maria Nah. I get a little annoyed with the way some people make everything about stuff it's not, but it's not worth getting seriously upset about. Karen, 21 Marshelltown/Ames, IA USA Nope. Can't say that I have. I don't have answers to some of them, but they don't upset me. Firelady, 23 Dallas, TX USA Not at all. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are some questions that I don't have the energy to answer, but that doesn't mean they've angered me. Laura, 36 Lowell, MA USA Not really upset but the resonses to the hate crime question ( http://www.2000days.com/Diary/Mar01/032301.htm )did catch me off guard. Alias Irrelevante Nope...every question is good Melodi, 19 Gahanna, OH USA No. None of the answers are directed at me personally. I only know one of the people who write in. Reba, 51 Rockville, MD USA Nope. Never. But as I said fairly recently, I don't usually get seriously upset or angered by much of anything. etoile, 20 Washington, DC USA I get angry at some of the anti-gay responses sometimes. When people insinuate that being gay is a choice it bothers me. When people insinuate that being gay is bad or less acceptable I am both hurt and enraged. Eric, 19 Beverly Hills, CA USA Yes. There are a couple of issues that im very sensitive about. Reading some answers that demonstrate gross ignorance makes me sad and angry at the same time. On the other hand, there have been some replies that make me feel quite positive and hopeful that perhaps just perhaps the general attitude of the mainstream is changing for the better. Talia, 23 Wilton, CT USA No I have not been angered or upset by any questions on this site. I find it very interesting and like to see others views on different subjects. I like to think of my self as open minded, By answering the questions I can sometimes get things off my chest as they say. God Bless. Marci, 56 Diamond, OH USA Great question Talia! Actually, I've been upset with my own self a few times, when I either couldn't understand a question or just couldn't manage an answer! I always felt better to go back and read other's responses to those kinds of questions, and find that I wasn't alone. Can't put my finger on any particular question right now. I will say that politics bores the shit outta me...and religion-related questions always seem to evoke very black or white responses. I could do without politics and religion on here. Fisch, 45 Preston, CT USA Not really. There are some that I considered either blunt or offensive, but I've never been seriously upset. People have a right to their own opinions. Jeremy, 14 Highlands Ranch, CO USA ive never been angered by responses, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. some of the questions, though....when i read that recent one about bisexuality, i had to roll my eyes and delete it immediately. im so tired of hearing questions like that... Jenn, 18 Milwaukee, MI USA Nope... Kevin M, 18 Frazier Park, CAI USA Nope, not at all. I'm not easily offended and I would hope that no one else would be either. As far as upset or angered by answers, not possible-how can I be angry at someone's opinion? If we all believed the same things, it would be a boring world. Angela, 16 Aiken, SC USA No I have not. There is no reason to be upset my a question or an opinion. But I have found that some of the questions lately have been rather blande. But other than that, keep up the great work! Stephanie, 25 TX USA No. In fact, I've never been even mildly irritated by anything written on the site. I can appreciate that everyone has a different opinion and I'm not going to agree with them all. I seriously hope I've never upset anyone by what I've said, though. I really care what people think of me and I hope that I've said nothing to tarnish me in the eyes of someone else. Shanna, 16 Cardiff ENGLAND no Tracy, 24 Ocean City, NJ USA |
