You are playing the game of Life and are given the chance to have the gift behind one of three doors: behind one is $50,000,000, behind another is $100,000, and behind the third is a tiger, set to devour you. Do you choose one of the doors or do you quit?

I'd choose. I figure whatever the outcome, it was meant to be, and heck, if it's my time to go, it's my time to go. The risk is worth it.

What the host doesn't know is I am armed with a nice knife and quick reflexes I'll take my chances

I would probably play. I've got more chance of coming out on top than not. Having said that, I'd probably just back out at the last minute like the great big sissy that I am...

I'd quit. 30% chance of being eaten alive is not worth any amount of money.

In my Game of Life, the tigers are generally in the underbrush and money is in someone else's bank account. I can't imagine any other game.

I go for door #1.

The weird thing is, this email said "You are playing the game of Life. . ." as a title and then the one after it said "You've never played a game like this. .." I open a door hoping it's the tiger because I like critters. And if the tiger would actually eat me (ew, human), that would probably meand they'd been mistreating him, so I'd want to get him out of there. Somehow.

is this for real? the 50 mil, duh

Is it greedy to say door number 1? 50,000,000 is a lot of money and I could  do so much good with that! I'm no where near ready to give up the game of LIFE!!

It probably depends on the day.

I submitted this question and when I submit, I almost NEVER have an answer. This is no exception. But now that I think of it, my answer would have to be that I'd quit. I love life too much to take even the remotest chance that I might lose it.

:::shrug::: I don't know. I couldn't say unless I was in that situation.  Right now, I'd say that money isn't THAT important to me--which is true, considering that I rarely use money unless I have to--but then again it depends on what was happening in my life at the time. But I probably would just quit.

I know my kind of luck; the tiger would get me. I'd bow out. I don't take many risks at this point in my lifetime.

I quit, its not worth the chance of death merely to inherit riches.

Wow, really long question. I always thought Life was the game with the little cars and the little pegs etc.and the game you're describing sounds like Let's Make A Deal or whatever that TV game show was where people wore funny costumes. But in any case, I'd quit.

I'd make sure my loaded gun was in my pocked, and pick one of the doors---hopefully the one w/the most money. I've got a college education to pay for.

Anjel, 20

i would quit. my life is worth more than money...chances are i  would've gotten the money, but i'd quit just to be safe. being attacked by a tiger isn't worth $50,000,000!!!

Mandi, 16

I go for it. That is a lot of cash to walk away from and I hear vegetarians aren't very tasty to eat so the tiger would probably walk away in disgust anyway.

I would probably take a chance with the money. I could really use a few grand. That much money could make a girl forget about a man-eating tiger!

No, I'd quit, I'm a wussie. Really, I guess in my life I'll have the chance to get as fas as I deserve just by what I am doing. I don't think I need to take such a risk/chance to do that. And I don't want to be rich in my life, just always have enough money - and that's a big difference.

--the game of life? if you quit does that mean that you are dead anyway? if it is just a game then i'd choose, if it wasn't the same answer.

Maria

I would definitely quit. I am not a greedy person and wouldn't risk being eaten alive for the "chance" for money. Not worth it.

Cathy, 26

I pick a door.

Deb

I'd choose one of the doors, but not before listening closely to see which one might be the tiger. The chances are better that I'd get the money than the tiger, I would hate to pass up the opportunity for that much money.

Dianne, 16

I quit!!

I would pick a door. Life is similar to those doors but of course you have more choices. If it was time for that tiger to get a free meal, good for the tiger.

Stephanie, 25

I would choose one of the doors, why not? After all, I am going to croak eventually, that would be a pretty cool way to croak. Besides, I like Tigers, I think they reek of awesomenes, and I would not blame them for eating me.
