Someplace quiet and secluded...perhaps a South Sea Island where I could sail, snorkel and laze in a hammock in the shade for hours...or perhaps a cabin in the North wilderness where I could get in some flyfishing, hiking and wildlife watching...or an educational trip to the Amazon...or Egypt.

The British Isles. I want to see the English countryside, London, Ireland, Wales, Stonehenge, castles, Shetland ponies, moors, the cliffs of Dover, the Queen, the King (not the Prince so much). I'm really not that much of an Anglophile, but I have always felt drawn to the Isles.

I'd like to take
a cruise to the northern European capitals -- there's one from London
to St. Petersburg, with stops in Scandinavia and several of the former
USSR cities that is particularly appealing. I'd also like to go to Australia
and New Zealand for a month or six weeks, but not in our
summer.
