did you do today?
I'm having a typical Sunday, complete with the local Sunday newspapers, the NYT's Sunday Crossword, a bit of springtime sunshine and six sorts of exotic cheese. Self indulgence.
Pretty much lazed aournd the house.
Woke up a little late (8), packed my gym bag, had a ham egg and cheese on english, did some stretching and a few laps around the indoor track and 45 minutes on a bike. Then I ran some errands with the wife.
I went to the Relay For Life pancake breakfast, helped my sister-in-law take down her tent and pack her car, went to my niece's First Eucharist party, attended a late Sunday afternoon Mass, had dinner at Applebee's, downloaded my photos from my camera to my PC, checked my email, and cleaned my daughter's ferret cage.
I'm visiting a college classmate in Baltimore. I slept in a little (got up at eight, which was five for me). We went to a discussion group at her church, then on to a country lunch party, hosted by another college friend. It was mostly a gathering of people who'd been to high school together, and it was fun to watch them all reconnecting.
Went to church.
There was a guest speaker, Reggie McNeil. he was very good. Jesus' mission
to spread the Good News is out with the people, not waiting for people
to show up in church. Did some grocery shopping. Found an outdoor flowering
plant I have been searching for Mandavilla. It's a kind of hibiscus and
it blooms all summer and until the frost comes. Called my mother-in-law,
asked her over to turkey dinner. So now I'm going to make strawberry pie
and stuffing. My hubby is going to put the turkey breast on the grill
and smoke it. I'll play a round of
Finished my proofreading job. Gathered maple seeds. Watched movies.
Today I went to church with my husband. As usualy, we hosted coffee and donuts after Mass. After church I took a nap, cooked a ham, made rhubard sauce, made dinner, washed two loads of laundry, did a lot of dishes, and gave two of my dogs their summer hair cut.
lots and lots of revision for my exams.
I went to work, came home, cut some grass and took my son fishing.
