What sort of summer reading you have lined up?

I'm planning on reading Children of the Storm (an Amelia Peabody mystery) and lots of Star Trek books (I try to read all of them). When Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix comes out in paperback in August, I will read that, too.

Just finished DaVinci Code, started HST's Hells Angels. I think there's a Ric Flair bio coming up, that's on the list.

Quite a lot actualy. Because I finish my degee next week I will have time and brain energy to read some of the more heavy going things I have been meaning to read for ages. While I've been working hard I've been lazily only reading Harry Potter and Terry Pratchett, and other things that I find no effort at all to read. Once I've finished I can go back to things that are a bit more challenging!

My reading doesn't change much by seasons. This weekend I filed 14 library requests, ordered 12 paperbacks and checked my bookshelves to see what I might want to reread.

I have a pile of reading to do, just like I do at any given time.

I don't have anything lined up yet. Need to get on that.

I have several true adventure solo sailing novels lined up, White Teeth by Zadie Smith, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by by Gregory Maguire...and I've joined a few bookrings through www.bookcrossing.com so I'll be getting some other books throughout the summer.

My summer reading is no different from my reading at other times of the year. A mix of history, biography, fiction, mystery, science fiction, poetry, and anything else that catches my fancy.
