Have you ever had a near-death experience and if so, how did it make you feel later on?

Never had one.

I wouldn't say it was a "near-death" experience, but I did get in a pretty bad car accident that knocked me unconcious for awhile. I had a very strange dream while unconcious, but I don't remember the details, I just remember it being very ... odd. I lived in Arizona at the time and shortly after the accident I decided it was time to move back home to Kansas. I guess I just realized then that I didn't want to be so far away from home in case something happened to me or
one of my family members.

A fairly serious car crash some years ago. I'm an extremely, extremely nervous driver on motorways though - I suppose that could stem from it.

I can't say that I have.

No.

A few. I'm usually pretty shaken for the rest of the day.

I was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 and had to undergo radiation treatments for two months following extensive surgery to remove the tumors. Later on, I considered cancer to be my dark friend. It is the great equalizer. It is a trump card. It puts things in deep perspective.
I rarely sweat the small stuff.

No, I've never had a near death experience myself, however, my Mother tells me she had one while she was giving birth to me! I guess I was born breech and it was a very difficult delivery. My Mom says she felt herself leave her body and found herself in a very, very green field. She said it was so green it almost hurt her eyes. Then, she said she heard my first scream as I was
born and her "soul" was hurtled back to her body. I say that those were some powerful drugs those doctors had given her back then! LOL

No. The worst that ever happened to me (physically) was that I got into a car accident and broke my leg. It made me feel stupid because it was my own fault.

Near death like the light at the end of the tunnel? No. I did have an experience one time when I lost complete control of my car. I was alone driving through a severe snow storm on a deserted highway in the middle of upstate NY. As I realized that I was about to leave the highway, I
said, "I'm ready". Then the tires caught and I had control of the car again. I felt oddly at peace.

I've had several near death experiences, followed by heightened perception of the world around me.

I had an out of body experience. It was pretty wild. I was floating up above my body and a voice (of God) was asking if I wanted to go up to heaven or stay here (meaning on earth with my boyfriend) and I choose to stay on earth. I married the guy and we are celebrating 21 years of marriage this month.

No I haven't because I haven't been that close to death or even a back accident to experience it. I don't know if I'd go telling people alot tho if I had as alot of people don't believe in anything. I'd tell people I trusted.
