What does your most favorite photograph look like?

It's a picture of my nephew Tommy. It's a picture of him when he was a baby. It's a close up of his face. He has a goofy grin on his face and he has a little drop of drool hanging from his lower lip. Even after 20 years that picture makes me laugh.

I have several, all of my kids. The most favorite is of my youngest son, taken when he was two and I had been away from home nursing my sick father.

My junior prom picture...it has myself and my high school boyfriend in it.

I love all my pictures. A couple of my favorites are one of thats of panoramic shot from far away of a cross country race start, a series of my friend and i posing before a meet where we are trying to look serious and tough and it starts with us both laughing and then one or the other is, until finally we both got it right. I also have some scenic pictures from trips through the up (of michigan). like i said, i could never pick a favorite!!!

I have several family photographs that I enjoy, but it has never occurred to
me to espouse and proclaim a "most favorite photograph".

I don't really have a favourite - I have a few of my friends and family from significant events that bring back some nice memories, but nothing terribly profound.

I've been doing a lot of photography this year, about 20,000 shots. I've got a few favorites. There's a sepia one of the upstairs at a local bar where Kerouac used to hang out now and then, probably the oldest bar in town. I got the shot shortly before they put in a tv set and flourescent
lighting. Another one is from the Lowell Folk Fest this year of a barefoot girl with an acoustic guitar gargling The Boxer in front of a bar while this guy on the far side of the image just gives her this WTF? look. If anybody's curious you'll find a lot of my band shots and some other stuff at http://www.PicsBySteve.com

Alias Irrelevante

It shows my husband with our oldest daughter at about one month old on his shoulder. He's sitting in our red La-Z-Boy rocker and they're both sound asleep.

I have a lot of favorite photographs. Most of them contain my son. There is one, however, that is especially dear to me. It is a photo of my grandfather holding me on his lap when I was about 9 months old. It is the only photo I have of him, so I guess that makes it extra precious. Other favorite
photos are of my dogs...family members, some of myself when I was younger and prettier...and some scenic pictures of places I've traveled to over the years.

Tam

It is a photo of myself and my wife at our wedding reception.

It's a picture of me and all my closest friends together outside of maddys house on her trampoline. It was taken at night and she was in her pjs holding her dog. Doug was holding me and liz came down to visit that weekend so she was standing with Maddy holding the dog. I had copies made of it and have one by my bed :)

It would have to be a pic of the Legendary Big Guy Sarge...natch

It is me sitting in the middle of a group of nuns. very funny (Can be seen on my website - http://www.ryancordell.com)

I have tons of favorite photos, mostly of family and friends. My favorites are pictures of my mom and dad from the 50s and of me and my brother taken in the mid 60s. I do have a great head and should shot of my grandmother taken when she was about 19. It has that sepia tone to it and she looks so young and pretty.

Felicia, 36

I have a lot of favorite photographs; I don't know what my MOST favorite is. But here's one of my
favorites: http://www.sarcasmracing.com/serenity/natlforest.jpg

Black and white of beach on Outer Banks near where the island splits at Manteo. Foam edging the water and an old pier in the background.

Cindy, 41

That's a tough one. I'd have to say it's a photo of my daughter when she was about a month old. Sleeping soundly with her little bear next to her.

Fisch, 47
Preston, CT USA

I've got many favorite photos; one of Dead Horse Point in Utah where Bill and I spent our honeymoon is the most recent "favorite". Before I got that, my favorite was a photo I took of Bill when he was birdwatching.

Reba, 57
Gaithersburg, MD USA

It is a picture of my husband and I (before we were married) sitting on the edge of a cliff in Tulum, Mexico. It's awesome because we didn't know it was taken until this guy just handed it to my husband after our trip. It's framed and hangs in our living room for all to see :)

Among personal photos, I have four favorites. There's a posed portrait of my father, age 2, in a dress. There is a tintype of my grandmother. age 3. with her mother. There's a snapshot of my
mother and her sisters, all in their thirties, in bathing suits on our boat on Lake Champlain. And my current favorite among my grandkids' pictures is one of Victoria staring in bemusement at a frog that had jumped into her water glass.

Jane, 63

Of me? It is a picture that my sister took of me in my nature habitat. A restroom on the NY Thruway.

It has all of my bestest friends crammed into a U-Haul "U-Store it" Shed. They're all exhausted yet totally and completely happy. It's in a nice dollar store frame and it sits on my TV at my Grams' house.

Personally, it's one I took of my son when he's about 3 or 4. He has red hair, a purple sweat shirt on and a baseball cap turns sideways. He's at the table eating a PB&J with a glass of juice. He has his hand holding up his face and he has the most perturbed and annoyed with the world
look on his face. Funny how things have not changed in 12 years. He still has the same attitude.
Professionally, I like anything of Ansel Adams.
