Have you ever been knocked out?

Actually, yes. I've NEVER told anyone this story, so you all will be the first to hear it. I was only 13
or 14 at the time. My brother lived in Manhattan, KS and living in a very small apartment. He had me run out to his car to get an alarm clock. I got the clock and was fiddling around with it, looking at, while I was walking back to his apartment. There was a deck hanging down from the building. My head was down, looking at the alarm clock in my hands. I ran right into the bottom of the deck with my head. Knocked me clean out. I have no idea how long I was out, probably only a few seconds. I got up, shook the cobwebs off and never mentioned it to anyone. I was also knocked out in a car accident. I remember leaving my apartment in Phoenix and the next thing I really remember is sitting on the curb with the cops and people and an ambulance near me. Through the haze of that in between time, I can still hear the sound of the crash.

When I was thrown from a horse, I was essentially knocked out. I had a concussion and lost all memory of most of that day. Not fun.

I think so. When I was 6 or 7 or 8 I ran into the house and promptly went flying down the stairs that led to the basement. What I rember next is laying in my bedroom (which was papered in pink crazy flowers) which had the shade drawn and hurting a lot. I don't remember getting there. Didn't think about it until now, but I must have been knocked out or sufficiently in a daze.

No knocked out from a fight but knocked out when the dentist puts you under to take out your wisdom teeth. Ouch!

No, nowhere near, either.

I wouldn't say I've been "knocked out" as in hit over the head with a bat or something, but I have been unconscious. I came pretty close to being unconscious a few times (like in the heat or after giving blood or when I had my wisdom teeth removed), but the only time I know of that I was actually unconscious was when I had surgery in July.

A few times in my life. Once when I fell off some monkey bars on the playround at school. Another time because I really ticked off a significant other, and another time because I was playing around with my friend and I slammed into a pole.

No, but my wife was knocked out at school when a boy hit her in the stomach.

Yes. When I was about 9 years old, my sister and I discovered the biggest icicle we'd ever seen. It was about 10 feet long and probably a foot thick! It was hanging from the roof of my grandfather's TV repair shop. We tugged and pulled and rocked that thing, trying to get it down. Unfortunately,
we succeeded and it came crashing down and hit me on the head. Bam! I was knocked cold and the whole side of the roof of my Grandfathers shop was pulled off along with the giant icicle!

When I was little, I fell and was knocked out for a brief period and a couple of years ago I fell and hit my head and was out for a few seconds. But never any prolonged period of time.

Yes I have. I was playing Rugby in the 7th grade. I did not even know how to play the game. When I awoke from my momentary black out, I resolved to never play the game ever again.

Once...I touched an ungrounded stove and got quite an electric shock. I then proceeded to throw up, feel faint, whack my head on the way down and I was out cold! Don't worry, it was all ok when I woke up...no hospital required :)

I think I knocked myself out once...it was a trying day.

I was knocked out once playing soccer. I hit my head on another girls knee and was knocked cold instantly. I was out cold for 4 or 5 minutes and have no memory of what happened.
