What
is the song that annoys you the most? OOPS! I did it again.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA USA
..I only get to pick one?...Okay, one that
perpetually annoys me is "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" -- it's not even an
authentic Irish song. It was written in the US to persuade Irish immigrants to "stick
to your own kind". It's sappy. Even my friends in Ireland hate it. Pox upon it.

There are a lot, like "The
Sound of Silence," that disturb me--I wouldn't say
they annoy me, though. I guess maybe the Thong Song or the Hooch, right now.
Karen, 21

Desert Rose by Sting. I hate that song soooo
much!!! It's horrible!
Dianne E., 16
Oshawa, Ontario CANADA
The most annoying song I've ever heard? That
would be a tossup between the too, too sweet score from "The Sound of Music" and
the blatant braggadocio of "My Way". Of course any advertising jingle that
sticks, sticks, sticks in my head, replaying, replaying, replaying is annoying.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA USA
not a lot of music gets on my nerves, but
the types of music i cant stand are rap, hip hop, and pop (like backstreet boys pop). the
most annoying song that i can think of right now is 'country grammar' by nelly.

"Piece of my Heart" by Janis
Joplin. I'm a country music fan and Faith Hill sang that song. It was the first time I'd
ever heard it and I loved it.Lately I've been listening to Classic Rock and when they
played that song by Janis Joplin, I could hardly restrain my disgust. Janis Joplin had
ruined "Faith's" song.

The song that annoys me the most is
"Mambo #5 " by Lou Bega. Runners up are
"Love Shack" & "Don't Worry Be Happy"

Whoa, this is almost as tough as the
"which is your favorite song" question. Now, do you mean ASIDE FROM the
Barney theme song? Way too many to mention. Nights in White Satin seems draggy and never
ending (no rock throwing please) - and of course, there was our beloved "Hey
Jude" ---just to name a few.
Fisch, 45
Preston, CT
USA
The one that plays in my head unbidden. Like
that MacDonald's or Burger King jingle that just won't go away....
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
Something by Celine Dion might be suited to
annoy me greatly.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA USA
That's an easy question : "It's a Small
world" that song that they play at any Disney event. That would be a major reason for
me never going.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA USA
Any song that refers to women as
bitches.
Jesse, 24
Bowie, MD
USA
WEll, considering there is a new
"annoying" song added to the radio about every week, I think the one song
that it would have to be narrowed down to the one song that is played so much that the
most popular song 3 days ago is bad. All!
Stephanie, 24
TX USA
the theme song from the movie
"PumaMan"--it was on Mystery Science Theatre 3000 once--and the song from the
"Invisible Fence" commercial.
Gemma Lynn
"Genie In The Bottle" by Christina
Agualera. I've got nothing against her but that song is really just appalling. It
irritates me to the bone.
Shanna, 15
Cardiff ENGLAND
any song by this chick called Lolly from
England
Jade, 16
AUSTRALIA
I honestly can't answer that question right
now, but the band Jebediah would probably be a good candidate for being responsible for
the song. I hate try-hard punks. You may have noticed the lead singer's voice get even
more of an accent with his latest songs. Its so fake.
Gavin, 15
Sydney AUSTRAILA
Don't worry, be happy...that song makes we
want to layeth the smacketh down on the guy's candy a.. that wrote that song (quoth
the Rock).
Mick, 30
Chicago, IL USA
That routinely changes depending on what
song I hear too much on the radio, but I'd have to say that I really hate those new
teenybopper groups (BackStreet Boys, Brittney Spears, O Town, etc.). I'm not really
into that type of music and it's all you hear on certain stations. Enough is enough!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
"Make it real or else for get
about it" Some overplayed Santna song by some
idiot who can't sing or get a hit on his own.
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
USA
There are a couple of children's songs that
I detest, especially "Little Bunny FouFou," which my daughter used to sing
repetitively.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
USA
"What a Girl Wants" ... really any
song by a talentless blonde bimbo gets on my nerves....
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
USA
Achy breaky heart
Sarah J.
Jones, MO USA
Funny, I just had 'oops i did it again' by
Britney Spears running through my head. But as annoying as that song is it's still a
flavor of the month deal. In order for something to get this title it has to have the
ability to annoy for generations, the chicken dance song (commonly heard at suburban trash
weddings) barely nudges out The Greatest Hits of Billy Bass.
Alias Irrelevante
There are so many. I think
"Freebird" may be the most annoying. But Rod
Stewart had a bunch of them... "Tonight's the Night", "You're in My
Heart", and just about anything that Mick Jagger has recorded in recent years.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA

ANYTHING by Limp Bizkit
Melodi, 19
Hlliard, OH

Any of the rap songs out there...
Jeremy, 13

hard to tell.. i dont really listen to the
radio that much anymore... i just listen to my cd's.
Steve, 29
Lake Worth, FL USA
Hmmmm At the moment that really heavy loud
screaming can't understand what he's saying music is really annoying.
Savannah
Anything by those pre-fab boys and
girls who are hawked to twelve year olds.

Copa Cabana
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA USA
this is a tough one for me. . . .uh. . . .a
lot of folks probably would say "Don't worry, Be Happy" or "I Just Called
to say I Love You" or "You Light Up My Life".. . .None of these really
bother me. . . Maybe that Michael Bolton song about "not having the heart to tell
you" or some such insincere crock of crap. . ."The Hardest Thing" by either
NSync or The Backstreet Boys is the same sort of thing. . a break-up song that asks the
person who is being dumped to have sympathy for the schmo who's leaving them. .. ..really
obnoxious and odious. . .
