The
boss is holding a manadatory Halloween Costume Party. What costume will you choose and
why? I won't choose a costume. I'll just go in regular street clothes and
dye my hair.
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO USA
I go as a plaintiff, there's just something
wrong about a mandatory party.
Alias Irrelevante
The thing is that what I'm wearing on
Halloween is all planned, so everybody at work will get to see it. . .I'm wearing the same
thing all day, from work at 8:30 in the morning to the Dracula ballet, which starts at
7:30 that night. I'll probably put pictures on my website when I have them.
Karen, 21

Probably a neoclassical rendition of justice
or liberty.
Felicia, 34
Lowell, MA
USA
I'd be a fortune teller with
trailing scarves, dangling earrings and a deck of tarot
cards.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA USA
the boss eh, i'd go as him. he'd get a kick
outta that. mandatory party? that's weird
Chris2, 15

Last night I came in 1st place for my
costume I made as "Bill on Capitol Hill"!
Now I'm a LAW!!!!!
Jami, 27

Evil. long black skirt, big black boots,
ritual style shirt, big black cloak, white base, upside down pentagram on forehead.
Why? Same costume I always wear, and maybe it won't be mandatory next time

Him. With a fake hatchet stuck into your
frontal lobe. And your paycheck glued to your chest with a question mark on it in red ink.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA USA
A nun. But considering I work at a
Catholic High School that has a nun for a principal, that might not be such a good idea.
My second choice would be Marilyn Monroe. It would be fun to be slutty and glamorous!
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
USA
A goth, because whilst they can be scary
they're very cool, and it would also be quite easy and inexpensive to get
everything I need.
Shanna, 15
Cardiff ENGLAND
I would be a Leprechaun because I'm Irish.
Melodi, 19
Hlliard, OH
USA
I would wear a clown costume because it has
been an absolute circus at my office lately.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
USA
probably a witch cos it is the easiest to do
Jade, 16
AUSTRALIA
I would want to dress up as Ash of
Pokemon fame, but only because I could then dress up my
6-week-old baby up as Pikachu. That would be too cute.
Jesse, 24

something related to Halloween such as a
vampire, frankenstein , a witch...you the idea.
Stephanie, 24
TX USA
I guess I would go as The Undertaker.
Mick, 30
Chicago, IL

Whenever people ask me what celebrity I look
most like, I usually answer Audrey Hepburn. This year for Halloween I'm going as Holly
Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
etoile, 19

I tend to be quite a practical
individual (goes right along with my astrological sign
of Taurus) and I have always thought that I would like to dress as a clown because I could
sew a clown costume that would be large enough to cover my regular clothes and in case it
got cold, I could always wear a coat or sweater underneath. I'd wear a funny,
multi-colored wig, and lots of makeup.
Reba, 50
ockville, MD
USA
I'd borrow Harry Potter's invisibility
cloak, so that I could very rapidly disappear.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
USA
I'd probably just buy some devil horns, wear
a red & black outfit, and a little more make-up.
Dianne E., 16
Oshawa, Ontario CANADA
The most sexist costume I can find.
Savannah
I recently picked up a used Halloween
costume for about $10 -- a VERY pink and poufy fairy-tale princess dress. It also looks
exactly like the dress that was featured in an episode of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER when
the cast dressed up for Halloween, but their costumes were cursed or something, so they
turned into whatever they dressed up as. This was Buffy's costume, so she spent half
the episode flouncing about looking for her coach and saying that she hoped to marry a
baron someday. ...Also, the only other option I have for "last-minute costume"
is a sort of "Arabian Nights" slave girl thing, and that would not be appropriate for something with the boss.
Kim, 30
New York, NY

Something easy, simple, and
comfortable...I'm sitting here in a witch costume right now and can't really feel that I
have it on. That's my kind of costume!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
i find an "emergency" that allows
me to skip because i dont want to spend time with people i cant stand anyway.
Steve, 29
Lake Worth, FL USA
This year
I think I'd be Pikatchu from the Pokemon cartoon line. . .It's a little five minutes ago,
but I think it still would be kinda fun and cute. .
mothmc, 36
Los Angeles, CA USA
If the party was during working
hours, I'd go in pj's and carry an alarm clock with me - always reading 6 a.m. - I'd yawn
the whole while and have my eyes half closed...since
this is pretty much how I feel most days! If it was an after-hours party - I'd dress and
act as much like the boss as possible...to show him/her what's it's like being around them
all the time.
Fisch, 45

The
English Teacher From Hell (tm). I think it just explains itself.
Amy, 23

A drug
addict/rockstar. thats what i was for halloween this year and it was a lot of fun.
Karen2, 14
Boston, MA

I always dress in a long black robe, rope
belt with a hood, white/green makeup on my face, balck sunken in eyes. Why? I like to wear
black.
