Do
you have a favorite screensaver? No. Not really. Both my husband and my employer went over to
the dark side. Since then I've not considered my computer fun. I miss my Macintosh.
Laura, 36 Lowell, MA USA I have a stock MS screensaver (the Leonardo da Vinci one). I'm not big on playing around with such things on my machine. Felicia, 35 Lowell, MA USA Are you kidding me? A favorite screensaver? We must be low on questions... A-Dog, 19 McMinnville, OR USA I like the "snowy scenes" screensaver im using right now. Talia, 24 Wilton, CT USA I'm very fond of "Wayfaring Stranger". Jill, 60 Saylorsburg, PA USA After Dark screensavers are amazing. I really love Lunatic Fringe. Eric, 19 Beverly Hills, CA USA I've had several screensavers over the year and I can't even remember most of them. But one stands out. Two years ago, our supervisor at work sent all of us a screensaver called "Snowing", which I loved. Our workplace is always upgrading our computers and giving us new and 'better' ones so the screensaver was lost long ago. Reba, 50+ Silver Spring, MD USA No, usually I just try to remember to turn the monitor off. Alias Irrelevante I have a shot of Manhattan Island, taken from a high-rise hotel room near the Empire State Building...facing downtown with a clear view of everything including the Towers, the harbor, and my home town of Staten Island. Fisch, 46 Preston, CT USA nope... change them all the time... my recent favorite is the Powerpuff Girls vs Him and Mojo Jojo, complete with sound effects that is on my computer right now... Maggie, 22 Sandwich, IL USA No, I don't use screensavers anymore - they're usually not necessary. My computer at home just has those wavy lines that bounce around, but I suppose I could turn off the screensaver. etoile, 20 Washington, DC USA Not really. I'll take any one that has interesting designs and movement and, most important, is silent. I truly dislike gurgling fish and such. Jane, 62 West Linn, OR USA I used to have Disney AfterDark--I loved that! I loved the Cheshire Cat screensaver, and the Little Mermaid one featured the head of the Eric statue floating down through the water. Scrooge swam after his money in space. . .now I just have SETI@home, which is interesting but not terribly entertaining. Karen, 22 Marshalltown/Ames, IA USA No. Jill, 60 Saylorsburg, PA USA I've got a screensaver with all the files from the "my pictures" folder displayed at random. It's neat. Sometimes I just get distracted and sit there and look at all the different pictures--I've got everything from fine art to pictures of celebrities to 1950s style pinups--instead of using my Johanna, 18 OK USA No, I do not have a favorite screensaver. Unless your monitor stays on the same image for days at a time they are not needed. Mine doesn't; therefore, I never use one. Russell, 36 Durham, NC USA Well, it's more of a background than a screensaver. It's a famous Vermeer painting called, "A View of Delft". And I have other Vermeer paintings lining the outside of the background. Jennifer, 19 Wilkes-Barre, PA USA yes. Paul Walker Patty I have a scanned-in photo on the screen right now. It's of the Barnegat Lighthouse in Long Beach Island, NJ. It's where my husband and I got engaged!! Tracy, 24 I have webshots, and it runs all the different pictures I've downloaded as a screensaver...and I like that a lot. Angela, 18 Well, I suppose my favorite would be of scanned projects I have of the Legendary Big Guy Sarge, Shorty Worty, and Axl Waxl...of course, I like the Lord of the Rings Screensaver (of the Orcs). Frodo Yes. It's the one caled 3-D flower box. I like it when the settings are on cylinder, big, and checkerboard. I love the way it bounces around the screen, always twisting and transforming. It's really beautiful, with all the hues blending into one another. I ecspecially like the part where it's comepletely blossemed. Derya nope.....although I do like those one's where it looks like the water is moving...does that count? Nikki2, 28NV USA There's a Clerks/View Askew one that I downloaded a while back. It was neat. Jaden, 21Brampton, Ontario CANADA No Melodi, 19 Gahanna, OH USA nope no special one to me Nicole2, 20 FL USA I think it is a fancy way to say, "We're revoking civil liberties." Eric, 19 Beverly Hills, CA USA juliana hatfield's...mmmmmmm mothmc, 37 Los Angeles, CA USA Not really. Unfortunatly, I rarely let my screen get a chance to be saved. Ryan, 28 Riedlingen GERMANY No. Celeste, 30 Colorado Springs, CO USA |
