Who
(or what) would you vote for as Time's person (or thing) of the year?Paul Walker (what a
babe)
Patty
Since Time once gave the Award to Hitler
(obviously evil)...their dictate is to the person (or thing) which had the most influence
on the world during the past year...Although I don't think that @&%* Osamma Bin Laden
should win an award...unless it is SOB of the year...if I could get over my qualms about
awarding this to someone of pure evil, he would get the award for jackass of the year [Bin
Laden]...however, I think I would vote for Americans who have dusted themselves on...and
kept going, despite 9/11...or the Firefighters, rescue works etc...or those passengers
aboard the PA flight or downed the flight that was supposed to have been heading for the
White House (I think)...either way, there is no way I would vote anything for a
terrorist...

Rudy Giuliani. He has done an amazing job in
the face of terrorism. He deserves it more than anyone.

I would vote for President Bush. I
liked him before his election and I like him even more
now.

Probably the firemen who stopped to raise
the scarred up flag they found in the rubble at the WTC. Them or Rudy!! (Mayor Guiliani)

Reluctantly, Bin Laden. He is the individual
who has most shaken up the world this year.

It would have to be all the heroes from
9-11. The fire fighters, rescue workers, people who helped each other, the people on the
flight 93.

I'm afraid the "Person of the
Year" has to be bin Laden. He is not popular, but
he is newsworthy. I'm bloodthirsty enough to hope the "Person of the Year" issue
could run his obituary.

The infamous bin Laden it would seem will
win the honor. However, I'd vote for the NYC Firefighter

I'd vote
for Henry Abelove, my Queer Theory professor here at Wesleyan University.

Usually I'm not a political person,
but I feel that President Bush really pulled through
and proved himself as a great country leader during the 9/11 tradgedy and after

My
opinion does not matter. Lets face it-The people/things we pick are not the popular
opinion. I say that we pick Eminem, but hey- no one's asking me. They all think we should
go for the person/ thing that actually did something either really good or really bad.
That disqualifies all the people I would nominate. So hey- either publiczise this message
or don't.
Derya
I'm not sure.
