How
many of your 2001 New Year's resolutions were you able to keep all year? I only made one
resolution last year and lo and behold! I was able to keep it all year.

I don't think I made any. . .I could be
wrong.

I got one of them (send more writings out)
and missed one (extensive self-publishing). Oddly enough though, it appears I may have
quit drinking which wasn't actually on the list.

I don't make resolutions anymore at New
Year's. Resolutions are for when you need to make them, all year round, not just at the
beginning!
Tracy, 24

I went back to 2000 Days to see what
my resolutions were. I wanted to add more fruits
and vegetables to my diet, and I have done so.
Jane, 62

It's very simple. I don't make them, so
none.
Firelady, 23

Probably none, but I can't remember making
any.

This is what I said:
"To improve my physical health, to find
greater peace and higher purpose, to end my inner conflicts with so many people who are in
my life." I've accomplished last item. 1 out of three? Good not great.

The only thing I resolve to do each New
Year's is not to make any resolutions. Sooo...my year was a complete success!

me and one of my best friends
decided that for one whole year we'd go absolutely
crazy. just insane. i mean you can only be young, stupid, crazy, and wild for once right?
we're finnally gonna live life to the fullest. do you think i could do that for a whole
year? besides that, keeping my room clean, getting my homework done, keeping a guy for
awhile before chucking him, getting a good bf, losing weight---well that's all been
ditched. but you know what hasn't? keeping friends. make that your resolution, guys. it
WORKS. luv ya.
Ally, 14

My new years resolutions were to oay off all
my debt and stay healthy by working out. Well, the debt is still there, but I am healthy
and happy and that's more important in the long run.
Stephanie, 25

Since I
lost the resolutions I made from last year, I do not know exactly how many I kept...of
hand, I kept my resolution to read at least two books per month (final total, 40 books
this year)...and, barely, I made my resolution to finish the first 100 pages of my new
novel. After several false starts, I final found something that is my bag...and,
yesterday, I completed page 100...just
under the wire...eh, whatever.

All of them. But when you make ones like
"wake up, before going to work," and "give up doing the macarana" it
makes it easy to keep them.
Ryan, 28

I made one New Years resolution to try to
understand more fully other peoples views. I have managed that, but some people I just
don't get. After all, there are some people I just won't get, no matter how hard I try.
