What does Autumn feel like to you?

2 Um. . .I don't like that Autumn is capitalized, because I knew a chick named Autumn and I don't think I ever really. . .felt her. I wasn't particularly tempted to, either. She was a very nice person,
though. And pretty. Student body president, I believe. But if you mean "what does the fall season feel like," I've got to say that it feels great. I love the cool days and the different leaf colors and the storms. This is quite possibly my favorite season, although I love spring and winter too, and I don't despise summer like I used to.

To me, autumn feels like Halloween... all of the perfectly autumn days I say feels like a Halloween day.

Cool, crisp air with the smell of firewood, smoke. The crunching of leaves as you walk with your hands tucked into the pocket of your jacket. The trees just glow with color and there's a certain stillness in the air and if it realizes death and winter is 'round the corner.

I think Autumn more as a scent than anything else. It smells like fireplaces, wet leaves, pumkin pie, soups simmering. I do feel the cooler weather but I associate scents with Autumn.

Transistion, excitement, energy. Too bad I get so wrapped up in work that by the time I notice it is fall, it is almost over.

It feels great. I like it mostly because everything dies, and the landscape is cool and cleared out.

I have no idea how to answer this. It feels brisk and cool and fun.

In a word? Crisp!

Today? It feels cold and damp. Other days it feels cool and crisp.

Autumn feels crisp and cool and clear. It makes me want to pull on a thick sweater and jeans and go for a walk in the woods, where I can admire the vivid colors, enjoy the crunch of leaves under foot, and, with luck, smell a bonfire. This is, of course, the Northeast autumn of my childhood.
Oregon's is less vivid, though still acceptable, but when I lived in Florida I deeply missed the changing of the seasons.
