I thought that I could write a checklist of things that made the perfect guy and then, when I met a guy who met all those characteristics, would live happily ever after with him. Around the time I got to high school, I stopped believing in the idea of having one true love, because I knew that nobody was perfect. I dated guys with obvious flaws, not really expecting to ever find somebody who was everything I wanted. Then I found a guy who fit perfectly with me. He became my best friend, someone it was impossible to live without. And then I married him. OK USA I don't think "true love" exists in the romantic sense. For any loving relationship to last, both people involved have to work at it. It doesn't happen all by itself.
