Do
you believe that there is one true love for you?yes!!
Laurie
Yes. But I believe you can have more than
one true soulmate.
Fisch, 46

I beleive that there is one person out there
for everyone. They give you that feeling you only hear about in romance novels and story
books. Its a most intense love and you think you might burst if you try to love a little
more. It's wonderful and I've found it in my fiance. We are the most insync couple I've
known. Everything we do is perfect. We have exact same likes and dislikes and have a
perfect relationship. So keep your eyes open

No, I don't. It would be lovely if
it were true though.
Reba, 50+

No. Although I love my husband of almost 40
years very much and can't imagine being married to anyone else, I know that if I hadn't
found him, I could have been happy with someone else. Or maybe not. I might not have found
anyone else. Of course no one else would be as good a man as he is, and if something
happened to him, I don't see myself marrying again. Maybe I'll change my answer to maybe.
Judy
No. Love exists in many place and in many
possibilities.

I'd like to hope that there is. My
fear is that I won't recognise them (as such) when I
meet them.
Keri-Jade, 21

At least! I am sure there are several people
who could be true loves, depending on whose path I happened to cross.
Jane, 62

no, not really. maybe i'm wrong, though. i'm
not sure more than one girl would have me.
A-Dog, 19

So far I've found the only one for me, but
you never know...someone else could be out there. I'm not interested in that though.
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
I hope not because the thought of having to
seek out one person on a planet containing over six billion souls is sort of depressing.
It isn't about finding your "other half" or soul mate or whatever... I think
love is the ultimate form of compromise and it is about finding the right balance within a
relationship.
Maggie, 22
Sandwich, IL

It's funny. When I was growing up, I
thought that there would be one true love for me--just
like in all the books I read and movies I watched. I thought that I could write a
checklist of things that made the perfect guy and then, when I met a guy who met all those
characteristics, would live happily ever after with him. Around the time I got to high
school, I stopped believing in the idea of having one true love, because I knew that
nobody was perfect. I dated guys with obvious flaws, not really expecting to ever find
somebody who was everything I wanted. Then I found a guy who fit perfectly with me. He
became my best friend, someone it was impossible to live without. And then I married him.
So yes, I do believe that there's one true love for me, and I can't believe how lucky I am
for finding him.
Karen, 22

No. Some people just werent meant to be in
love.
Talia, 24

No. I believe that there are several people
on earth that I could lead a fairly happy life but there is no guarantee that I will ever
find them. I don't think that there is anything supernatural or fated about love.
Johanna, 18

I don't think "true love" exists
in the romantic sense. For any loving relationship to last, both people involved have to
work at it. It doesn't happen all by itself. Having said all that, after several years of
a very painful time, my husband and I have worked out all the rough spots.
Laura, 37

Yep, I just spoke to him on the phone - he's
about to head into town for another bout of job hunting..
Alice, 21

No. I have loved more than one person in my
life, and each was my true love for that time in my life. The man I am married to now is a
true love, but I don't believe that means we will always be together. Love does not
conquer all.
Sapphire, 31
Ft. Lauderdale, FL USA
yes, i do
Patty
Yes, and I also believe that they died in a
freak bungee helicopter accident days before I was supposed to meet them. (A/N: Watch for
dripping sarcasm.)
Nicci, 27

I don't believe I'm fated to be with one
other person, or more simply, I don't believe in soulmates. However, I believe there are
certain people I'd be best with, and I hope I find one of them.
Katie2, 18

I do, in fact, believe
there is on true love for me...and I have already found her. I'm 29 and had waited years to find just that person, and when I finally did, I asked her
to marry me just 3 months after I had met her. We will be married on March 23rd and we get
along even better now than we did when we first met. I was very lucky to finally meet
"the one". (I would like to note, that she doesn't even know this site exists
and I am not writing these things for her, she won't ever read this.)

When I'm at peace with myself, I can find
many varieties of love in many, many places.

excuse my french but hell yeah i personally
believe that eveyone is has a perfect match aka a true love even though some people dont
end up with their true love and some people dont believe it but no matter what they say
everyone has a match i one way or another

Yes, there is one special love for
each of us. But that doesn't mean we will ever meet!
Laney

If there were one true love for everyone,
that would imply that fate and destiny are real ideas. And I don't like the idea that my
life has already been planned out. So why I do believe in true love, the kind that will
last me a lifetime, I don't believe that if I don't find one specific person, I
Angela, 18

I use to but i think that i was just being
nieve. I think it is what you make of it. You might only have one man that you can
look at and get butterflies for the rest of your life but what happens when that man turns
out to be an asshole? Was that your only chance at true love? i refuse to believe
that....so i push on....
Nicole2, 20

Yes I
do..and I have already found him. Him and I have been through hell and are still going
through hell but my love for him hasn't faded a bit. It actually amazes me.
