As I lived much of my life in the Northeast, I became very tired of having to cope with heavy snow storms that made getting about difficult. Now, living in Oregon, I enjoy the day or two of snow we get each winter, and I can spend an hour driving to Mount Hood when I really want to play in it, but I don't have to deal with it for months at a time.
