Would you
rather work for a large corporation or your dad?
If my dad were
alive, I would definitely prefer working for him.

If I were a young
person starting out, I'd rather work for a large corporation because of
the training such corporations provide, the opportunities they offer and
the cachet they can add to a resume. It
is much easier to move from a large corporation to a small one than the
reverse. I did, in fact, work for my father during my summers while in
high school, college and graduate school. The family business was not
one which would have fully utilized my talents or, long term, suited my
personality, so I did not make a career of it, but I always enjoyed the
experience of working with my parents.

Again, I'd rather
work for a large corporation. If there are problems there is no risk of
damaging a personal relationship.

I'd rather work
for my Dad, but my dad would probably not be able to pay me near what
I'm making at my current job. Sorry, Dad, but I have to support my family.

I'd rather work
for my dad. There is no garuantee in having a job in five years with a
large corporation any more. I'd rather spend that time helping the good
of my family along.

A large corporation!!!!!

I'd rather work
for myself or a large corp. I don't think I could work for my dad.
