Is there any culture or group of people that especially interest you?
I'm fascinated
by all sorts of people and cultures. I am especially interested in how
folks can be so different, yet so the same.

I am interested
in learning about any different culture. Diversity is one of the things
that made the USA the great nation it is today. One way to learn more
about other cultures is to volunteer for the Literacy Program in your
state. It really doesn't take much to help tutor people trying to learn
our language, and while I was involved in this program, I learned so much
about how others grew up in their countries. Great eye opener.

Aborigines. I am
intrigued by Australia anyway, but these native folks have always captured
my imagination. I have a CD of music made using musical instruments that
Aborigines made. Yothu Yindi, I believe was the name of the group. Pretty
cool.

The differences
and similarities among cultures interests me more strongly than does any
particular culture, other than my own.

I
have always been fascinated with ancient Egypt. The tombs, their sophisticated

In
general, eastern European culture fascinates me, and I'm particularly
interested in the Russian and Romanian languages. Japanese society and
culture also interests me greatly.

offer.

I'm
interested in the Chinese because I'm Chinese and interested in the Polish
because my husband was Polish. I've taken a few cooking classes in both
cuisines and I took a class called "The Pleasures of Being Polish"
probably 25 years ago.
