The only books

Plato's Symposium and Sons of Martha, which is a compilation of engineering
stories basically.

I'm reading "Prodigal
Summer" by Barbara Kingsolver. It's a wonderful story about love,
nature, wildlife, botany...set in the mountains of southern Appalachia.
Hey Fisch - I bet you'd like this book!

Let me think: I
am reading a book on those crazy Celts...I am reading a Thousand and One
Nights...I am reading The Tropic of Cancer...and I am reading a science
fiction book...It is by Robert Jordan (I think)...although, personally,
my favorite living sci-fi guy is Terry Goodkind...all time, of course,
it is Tolkien...I have read that book (the three books combined into one)...I
have read that twice...I remember, I could not wait to finish reading
it, so I could read it again...

I'm sort of reading
Lord of the Rings, but I don't have much time for it.

I'm rereading Tuck
Everlasting so I can read it to my students. It's amazing, but besides
magazines, that's all I'm reading right now. I just went to Barnes &
Noble and picked up two new ones though!

I'm reading textbooks
for school: three cover clinical psychology and two cover social welfare
policy. When I have some time and can't read another technical book, I
pick up one of the James Herriot books. I pretty much read them all the
time. They are my favorite books, I know the stories by heart, but I love
them. And they are about the only thing my weary brain wants to absorb.

I just finished
"On A Pale Horse" by Piers Anthony.

I was reading Animal
Husbandry but I work too much.

I'm reading Marva
Dawn's "I'm Lonely Lord -- How Long?" It's a collection of essays
and such about the Psalms in the Bible. It's been helpful in pulling me
out of a recent depression and such, and I highly recommend this book
to any Christian. It's just amazingly powerful.

I have bookmarks
in about 25 of the 50 or so books I have that I still need to read. The
one I've spent the most time with is The Dinosaur Heresies by Robert Bakker,
but I was reading that at work in my spare time and I haven't really had
spare time at work lately.

Currently I am
reading "Arrow of the Blue-Skinned God" by Jonah Blank. Blank
has taught anthropology at Harvard and is currently the South Asia policy
adviser for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In this book he retraces
the Sanskrit epic "Ramayana" throughout India. It's really a
very interesting book.
Diana,

I read Return of
the King by Tolkien, now I'm trying to read Nickled and Dimed by Ehrenlich
(sp?) and the Dhali Lama's new book. I've got a stack of about 40 more
