Do you have any foreign penpals or email buddies who you have never met?
Is Chicago
considered foreign? In the late 1990s, I met a guy through Yahoo Personals.
We started a relationship where we would call each other at work. Well,
that flamed out, but in the
process I started writing to a fellow he worked with. A nice guy, married
with kids. We have maintained this relationship for more than five years.
We exchange birthday and Christmas presents and write a little almost
every day. I have never met him. I hope to do so someday.

I have had
a few email buddies from America, Australia and Finland in the past, but
I haven't been in contact with any of them for a while now.

No. But at
work, I have worked for years with people in offices in other states that
I have never met. We do jobs through the office email.

Yes, a few.
But there are also a couple I did have the opportunity to meet in person.
Great fun!

I correspond
with a woman in Rotterdam and a man in Australia.

No. Lots of
friends in other countries who keep in touch via e-mail, though.

Not really.
I have people I argue with on a regular basis on the same message boards
now and then but never any direct email correspondence.

Can't say
that I do.

I used to.
I've kind of lost touch with them all. I still wonder how they're doing
from time to time,
though.

I met one
foreign pen pal -- a girl from Germany. We lost touch after her mother
died when we were in college. I corresponded with a girl from Japan for
a little while, but that didn't last much more than a year. She sent me
some beautiful printed paper that I still have.

Yes - I have
friends all over the world who I talk to everyday - from as far away as
St. Petersburg, Russia, to as close as a Korean pal of mine in Toronto,
Canada.
