Do
you find it hard to say "no" when someone asks you to do a favor you really
don't want to do? The ONLY person I have a hard time saying no to is my wife.
I almost always do what she asks me to do. However, when friends ask me to do them a favor
and I don't want to do it, I have no problem telling them that I really don't want to.

Sometimes, if it's a good friend or
relative.

More often than I want I end up doing the
favor. Although I am getting better at saying no.

i find it very hard to disappoint
someone by not doing them a favour.

Not anymore, but I used to.

Depends on the favor, but generally I say
yes. Maybe they'll return it some day.

Always. I like to think that the favor will
be returned at some time in the future. I just did a favor for someone. I really did it
for the kids involved, not for the Moms. I carpooled 100 miles on my car in 2 days and did
not leave my town driving kids (not my own) around. I love the kids so I would do it again
and again.

The older I get, the easier it is to say,
"I'm very sorry, but 'No'."

I did up until about a year ago but
I've gotten much better at it. "No" is a
pretty easy word to say when you're busy with your own concerns.

No, you can ask one of the fellow 2000 dazed
people...in fact, I got in a bit of trouble for saying no to a favor request...of course,
I said 'no' in my own sarcastic way...which doesn't always go over too well...meh

I'm so bad at saying no. People always get
offended when I do it. I got into a terrible bind over it the other day. I felt really bad
and caved, and then regretted it.

I find it hard to say no if my daughter asks
me. I also find it hard if the person asking rarely makes unreasonable demands on me, so
thatI feel there must be a good reason for the request. Otherwise, I've had lots of
practice and it has become pretty easy.

I have no problem saying No.

Yep. I wish I could say no more often and I
think I'm getting better at it. I told my friend no this evening even though she was
really pushing me. But still, I'm loyal and good hearted and I usually put my friends
before myself to nearly a fault.

I try to say "yes" if at all
possible- if it's something that's important, and they are sincere, then most likely I'll
just offer tohelp them out. If it's something that they're asking me to do out of
laziness, jealousy, etc., then I'll probably politely decline... it is much harder
to do this than to just say
"sure," though.

depends on who asks for the favor

I almost always will help someone
who asks for a favor. If the favor requires my acting
in a way contrary to my beliefs I will say "no" and if I don't have the time, I
will also say "no".

Not really, but I don't have much to go on.
People don't ask me to do favors all that often.

Nope. If I don't want to do something, I
don't. Plain and simple.

If it is something that I would
rather spend the entire week watching
"Barney" than doing, I wouldn't feel bad saying no. If it was a best friend that
asked, I would still do it cuz I'd just want to make them happy. Maybe that's why
I'm stuck giving rides to and from school all next week... :)

No,
I have learned through experience to say No when I don't want to be there
or do that task or project. Before I learned to say no, I would find myself
overbooked, tired and grumpy doing something I did not want to do. I just
say, "NO", I am not able to do so. But Thank you for asking
me." I try not to give further explanation, then people can not try
and talk you out of your "excuse" as if No is not reason enough.

That
really depends on who the friend is. Some friends, I'd do anything for,
regardless of the task -- either because they're just awesome friends,
or I just don't like saying no to them. Others, if I *really* don't want
to do it, I'll say no without any problem.
